Lightbulb moment

Ever since I was 15 I have had gray hairs and I am still getting them. I was wondering why this was so, so I looked to my chart for some clues. I couldn't come up with anything significant and then thats when it dawned on me, the ruler of my first house (neptune) is in capricorn. Capricorn of course being ruled by saturn, which symbolizes old age. This of course is a very cursory observation and it may or may not be the reason, but I was wondering if anyone else on this board has the ruler of their first house in capricorn, or some other significant aspect to saturn and whether or not they too have premature gray hairs

Re: Lightbulb moment

I have thought about the significance of Saturn and the appearance of aging to. My partner has Saturn in Aquarius in 1H, with Capricorn rising. I'm thinking of Saturn as 'bringing on' or developing maturity in whatever it is affecting or aspecting. So, he has a double dose of Saturn (with it being the traditional ruler of Aquarius) affecting the house that set the stage for early life. He was 6'3 or close to it at age 14!

Cheers! N

Re: Lightbulb moment

I have Saturn on th Asc in Virgo and I was tall for my age at a young age, and when kids my own age were getting into mischief I remember one older man shouting at me and telling me I should be more responsible for the others as he thought I was older than my peers. Although when I was in my 20's I was getting told I looked 17 yrs old. It has worked both ways. There is definitely some age significance being linked to Saturn.

Re: Lightbulb moment

ah, if only my aging had manifested as being tall for my age! haha, these gray hairs will be the end of me

I can relate with that as well, I am 20 but I frequently get comments that I look 17, one time someone even told me I looked 13! go figure

Re: Lightbulb moment

Well I'm an interesting mix of young and old. I had my first grey hair at 20. I am now 32 and am more grey than people of my age. When I was in school, I was told by other students that I looked a lot older than I was and some insisted that I looked 24 at 16! It was a plus then because I never got my ID checked when trying to get into clubs at the age of majority. I'm lucky in that now although Im greying, my skin is in better condition than most.

I have sun (10th) opp saturn (4th), Cap MC. I have aries AC with Jup in 1st and chart ruling mars is in gemini; so maybe I'll have some chance of looking younger when I am older.

Coincidentally, when I was told that I looked old in school, saturn was passing over my MC and sun over those years.
