Bill Clinton is so bitter about Barack Obama's victory over his wife Hillary that he has told friends the Democratic nominee will have to beg for his wholehearted support.

Mr Obama is expected to speak to Mr Clinton for the first time since he won the nomination in the next few days, but campaign insiders say that the former president's future campaign role is a "sticking point" in peace talks with Mrs Clinton's aides.

The Telegraph has learned that the former president's rage is still so great that even loyal allies are shocked by his patronising attitude to Mr Obama, and believe that he risks damaging his own reputation by his intransigence. A senior Democrat who worked for Mr Clinton has revealed that he recently told friends Mr Obama could "kiss my ***" in return for his support.

The first thing I notice is the position of his Pluto at 11 degrees Leo, and his Mercury conjunct at 7 degrees Leo. This conjunction (Pluto conjunct Merc) can lead to the most morbid kind of thinking. The midpoint of his Pluto/Merc conjunction is 9 degrees Leo. The eclipse on Aug 1st is at 9 degrees Leo, effecting his entire generation. I'm wondering how it's going to effect him. And what that's going to mean for us.

Hi Jerry,

Thanks for the research. 6 Can 49 is conjunct Jupiter (5 Can 56) in the USA chart, which is the ruling planet (Sag rising chart.) He could severely effect the USA self-image. If Bill doesn't get (in perpetuity) laryngitis fast, it appears that he's going to do just what you've said, rake up more dirt, and it won't be good for Uncle Sam.

I keep wondering if there's anything left of the radical in him. The Clintons were once vehemently anti-establishment. I've never been able to figure how they went from this...

It's going to be interesting, that's for sure. If Bill wanted to tell all, he could really bring the establishment down now. But he seems to be approaching a mental breakdown or something.
