What is going on with the company?

Lilly, Star, and Archergirl,

I hope you don't mind, but I was curious as to what could be the mysterious thing going on with my company, the Venetian. The Palazzo is their new tower, and who knows maybe they are losing money from the new 3 billion dollar hotel they built. i drew this chart up, and entitled it "what is wrong with my company? or what is going on, you know, we were wondering what going on behind the scenes to see if there's a big change.

how funny if we read the papers and here that Mr. Sheldon Adelson the conglomerate richer than God man who owns the Venetian is up to something? Moon is in Taurus in 8th.. interesting, perhaps the company is having financial problems?

if you care to take a look, i'm curious to see what the big picture is, the other chart gave me more questions that i had before

You are venus and the hotel/job is moon on house ten. The relationship is a trine to moon in house 8, but there is also venus opposing MC. I would think they are in a good position because moon in taurus is in a good position. In house 8 could also indicate the investors in casino, so good return. You are at odds with your career (venus opposition mC). Oh BTW did you get to look at my SR?

Sheldon Adelson does not completely own Venetian only 65% *LOL* of all properties of LVSands corp.. He is CEO of Las Vegas Sands Corp, which owns 5 or 6 resorts around the world.

thanks, Tikana, you are well informed. We all just joke around and refer to him as "Mr. Adelson" at work as if we know him. Kind of hard to explain, but regardless, if you look at the other horary post, regarding keeping my job, Star and Lilly were thinking there was something going on with the job that I didn't know about, and they also caught on the financial problems-

This was spot on because I was hired at the Palazzo, Venetian's new tower. We have all (as dealers) been upset about the lack of business and money, so I didn't mean Adelson himself was going bankrupt, but I was wondering if perhaps the company had overextended itself regarding the costly extension when they built the Palazzo, I think it cost 3 billion.

i can't think of any other secrets or hidden info from the job itself, but i was curious to know what was up with the critical 29th deg. we found on my horary chart about job security in the 10th house- its a job for me, 6th house, but the corporation is in the 10th. The other possibility could be that it involves the bosses, not the corporation itself. sometimes when companies open a new hotel, changes are made with management

hmm US dollar is collapsing to a point that NY stores are accepting EUROs which is unheard of! People in NY are keeping the EUROs! Plus the US just passed a bill to send reimburstment checks from 300 to 1200 dollars depending on last year's tax return form.. Repos, bankruptcies, foreclosures are its all time high! US dollar is hitting the bottom, the deficit is growing, the country is in a recession, and iraq/afganistan wars are mking things even worse. No one investing in the US. Russia alone just lost 14% of its investment during the crash a few weeks ago.

pretty creepy situation if you ask me.. LV and Atlantic cities are 1st to suffer during the fluctuations

Hi Joanne, I think in this case, we have to look at the whole chart as being the company chart, so again, as you see (interesting) the Company is signified by Libra, Venusian things like money). In the other horary the MC was ruled by Venus as well.

this Ascendant has SPICA in exact conjunction. Spica is the most benific star, BUT the Ascendant is falling in the Via Combusta, meaning that the company has burned itself somehow. He is in a bad situation, even though Spica keeps his head above the water. Spica could also show that the company is worth a lot.

The ruler Venus is found in Capricorn very close to the 4th house, the house of endings and about to oppose the MC (the culmination point, the future and goal of the company).

Venus is not well placed in Capricorn and at this degree Peregrine as she is not in one of her essential dignities (very beginning of sign), nor is she ruler of the triplicity. In fact,she is nearing the end of her sign and about to enter her 4th house of endings.

Looking at the companies 10th house, we see that the Moon rules it and the Moon is strong in sign where she is exhalted, but not very happy in the 8th house and about to make a square with the South Node, worse, she is VOC AND Moon is conjunct the most malific star Algol!!
Moon is ruled by Venus and we know how weak Venus is.

What we have here now is something really strange. Ascendant in Via Combusta but with Spica conjunct the Ascendant (something good and something bad) and Algol conjunct the VOC Moon!! who is however strong in sign (again something good and a lot bad).
Both, Ascendant and Moon are ruled by Peregrine Venus in opposition to the MC. so I dont think that the bad can be taken away by the good in this case. I think the bad things are stronger here.

Should we maybe look at the 10th house as representing the big boss?? That could well be possible. The company's boss has done something with other people's money, or evaded tax or something. Whatever happened, it is likely that the manager or the boss have made mistakes.

Saturn retrograde shows the gambling. He is in terms of Mercury. Both a retrograde planet and Mercury retrograde can show stealing, thiefs. Mercury is in his own term and face AND is ruler of the triplicity by night of Aquarius. He rules the 12th house of secrets and hidden things and he is in the 4th house of the "family" of the company. It shows the losses from gambling. (the 12th house of the 5th!) Moon is leaving the square to the Sun. the Sun shows hopes and wishes and Moon apparently has lost hope. Moon also left the trine to Venus.

The 10th house cusp moved away from the POF and the Moon as well. Venus opposed the POF recently. The company could well be too deep into depts (Moon in 8).

The 2nd house of the chart, showing the financial strength of the company, is ruled by Mars at 25° Gemini, in the 9th and in his own term. But Mars is also VOC and in face of the Sun who is in detriment in Aquarius and in term of Jupiter who is in fall in Capricorn at the moment! So Mars is facing bad financial weakness and is probably asking (Gemini, talking to) for foreign investment (hence placement in the 9th and Mars also represents other people, the 7th). They might get it because the Ascendant is about to trine Mars. I still think that a take over could be possible as Mars is ruled by Mercury, positioned in the building (4th house) of the company and the Sun is going to trine Mars. Everything will happen in about 1° (Mars to MC and Sun to Mars and Venus opp. to MC ). This could be either one Month or one year.

Moon will very soon sextile MC, so that could be that the financial support from a foreign investor could come soon (maybe that is why Spica is on the Asc., luck coming towards them.).

This is my version of this chart. Looking forward to other interpretations!!

you know, this really makes sense. they have been cutting our hours so that i am only working 3 times a week. it sounds like a real soap opera. you know what, though? there are lots of synchronicities with the first chart, the same ruler being Venus, etc. i'll be eager to see what happens and i'll be sure to keep you updated.

thanks for taking the time in writing such an in depth chart. i know all about staring at the computer too long and getting headaches. i am ag home now, out of the hospital, camping out on the sofa with my laptop, tv, and the doggies! there are 4 dogs here, 2 dachshunds belong to my roommate, i have a chihuahua terrier mix and an aristocratic maltese....my maltese is the only loyal one out of the bunch, he hasn't left my side since i got home, the others follow whoever has food in hand! poor little pookah wouldn't leave my side to eat dinner, he's so sweet. so my roommate brought his dinner by the sofa with mine this evening

i have always been obsessed with dogs, i wonder if this is my pisces moon in the 5th? i actually pulled up my doggie's chart and found he had a sweet pisces stellium conjunct my moon...oooh so sweet

I think Starlink's take on the chart is spot-on.

The Moon conjunct Caput Algol in the 8th means the company has 'lost its head' around other people's money - the investors', most likely. There is an applying trine from the Sun (the company's reputation, or the 'boss' boss' - perhaps the board of directors, someone like that), to Mars, the 7th house (Other People). Starlink's idea that they might be 'recruiting' foreign investors is a brilliant bit of insight.

With POF right at the midheaven the company values its reputation, as in 'saving face', but I get the idea, like Starlink, that they may have overstretched themselves a little bit and are now paying the price. Note the very late degree on the 5th house of gambling, with the Sun applying.

Archergirl gave me a practice question.... could i see if i can try to solve it for you also? i practiced horary a lot last summer and got frustrated but now that i am making friends with other horary astrologers, i feel more compelled to try again. if its personal i understand, but if you want to PM me another question i'd be happy to try.

the dogs are chasing each other round the house running around like chickens caput algol- chickens with their heads cut off, lol! barky barky barky. my 6th is in Aries, ruler is mars or sun, right? sun is in 1st mars is in 2nd. however my little pookie is a show dog that's why he's an aristocrat. his papa is a euro-north american champion... he's beautiful if i get a title on him here one day i'll show him in europe too. i think he's way better looking than most maltese you see. its his face. moderate. not too silly looking like other dogs and a fine silk coat. if he were a man i'd marry him he's perfect.

Thank you Joanne. I was thinking about you today and thought, mmmmm..... someone with so much Scorpio MUST be interested in Horary. We are the detectives of the sky! trying to get to the bottom of things.
