Anybody have planets conjunct their partner's descendant? If so, what are they (include sign)?

If you have any planets in the same sign as your partner's descendant, that works too. Let us know!

Who's more involved, and if it's equal, how does it play out? Are you married, dating, have kids?

hello. i had this situation with my ex. my DC is in Taurus where was his Asc. i had in my 7th house his moon, mercury, venus, mars and saturn and he had in his 7th house(in scorpio) my pluto and moon. i can`t say who was more involved, maybe both, but he was the only who was always afraid of losing me(maybe it`s his saturn oppo. my moon?) and it iritated me. i also hated his moon oppo. my moon. we would never live under one roof i think. i remember he bought house and i also remember my first reaction when i saw that house, the first thing that i thought was that i would never live there at no cost:lol:
we had many other karmic and good aspects too but were together only for two years and then broke up. at the moment we have very good friendly relationship.
you know from my practice i noticed that someone`s planets in my 7th or vice versa don`t make me much involved. but the situation changes when someones planet appears in my first house. in my current relationship there is he`s moon in my first and my venus-in his first. my 7th house is empty and his 7th house is occupied by my jupiter. well, i feel myself much more involved than in previous relationship.

my partners Leo moon falls in my 7th but not conj Desc, which is good my cos my chart ruler Uranus is there :andy:

Moon 7th house "The Moon in partner's seventh house is often found in romantic or marital relationships. This is especially true if the placement is near the descendant or the seventh house cusp. The family of one or both of you may play an important role in the relationship; family or domestic issues often come into sharp focus. A seventh house Moon usually denotes significant ups and downs in the affair, and there is a keen awareness of each other's moods and feelings. The Moon individual is apt to bring a good deal of support and understanding to the relationship." http://www.astrology-numerology.com/synastry-houses.html#Moon
My mars falls in his 7th but not conj Desc
Mars 7th house "Mars in partner's seventh house is a dynamic, action-oriented partnership reflecting a good deal of impulsive behavior. This Mars person can stimulate the other into greater self-expression whether in partnership or competition. This placement can produce considerable sexual attraction, but provides no guarantee of a lasting relationship by itself. It does provide an active and often interesting attachment." http://www.astrology-numerology.com/synastry-houses.html#Mars
Saturn tends to act as 'cement' whether for good OR bad in synastry -

My Sun and Mercury in Gemini are conjunct his descendant. I don't really know what this means, I'm still learning, but he is probably the more dominant one in the relationship. We are married. His Mercury in Taurus is also conjunct my descendant.

Emily, in what way dominant if you want to elaborate?

Who would you say puts more effort into the relationship--or is that what you mean by dominant?

In the synastry with my boyfriend his NN is near my DC but 4 degrees away so..it is not so close + it is not a planet...but it has it importance ....
I think it gives me the feeling that I see my life for the distant future with him....not without him...but this doesn't tell me that I'm sure ...

I have his sun conjunct my descendant at 0
Hmm my descendant is Gemini and his mars is in Gemini, don't know if that means anything.

It's rather complicated to say the least, lots of saturn aspects and his sun,, moon , mercury, and venus in my 10th house. But I feel soo connected to him, I see my future with him. It looks all black without him :crying:

I keep wondering why more people don't come out because I'm sure more couples have this.

If you have any planets in the same sign as someone's Descendant, that counts too!

SPEAK UP!

Hi---
My partner's Sun and Jupiter are in my 7th. We have a mutual Mars conjunct the other's 7th. It is an important relationship and we are able to talk (when we are in contact!!!). Maybe since we are both double water signs (Sun and Moon) the Mars anger doesn't erupt too often. Generallly when one is angry the other can stay calm.
Interesting that Catatonia wrote that having planets in the same SIGN as the other's 7th counts too.....in that case his Mars, Mercury and Saturn are also in the same sign as my 7th. We have Saturn in Cap conjunct Jupiter in our composite, so Saturn is pretty pronounced with us (lessons, family obligations, distance, yet committment).

Thanks
Melisa

the woman i'm in love with and i have cross aspects, of sun conjunct eachother's descendant.

is this a past life relationship or potential for a relationship in this lifetime?

My love interest has his DC ruled by Aquarius with an empty 7th house, while my 7th house ruled by Libra has Uranus in it. My DC is ruled by Libra and he has his sun in Libra. Not sure how this will play out, but I am curious as well!

My 7th is also empty (except for asteroid Ceres) in Aquarius. I seek unconventional partenrs and can tolerate a bit of freedom in relationships. Yet I am possessive (moon in Scorpio Mars in Taurus). With your Uranus in 7th, you could probably relate well to your love interest having Aquarius on the 7th---you would both like surprises and unconventionality in relationships. If his Libra Sun is in your 7th Libra, that is excellent. The person's partner having sun i the person's 7th is good for a romanitc partnership.

Have a nice day

Very kind of you to reply Melissa! Maybe that's why he said he found my weirdness to be endearing. LOL. His Venus / Pluto conjunction is also in my 7th house, and my Sun in his 1st...but ultimately it is the will of two souls that makes or breaks a relationship.

Alright, well I have a few experiences if anyone's interested...

I'm going to briefly mention 3 men.

1 Aries Rising

1 Taurus Rising

1 Leo Rising/Aries Sun

I have to be completely genuine in discussing these because we are only human, and we tend to tangle the superficiality and insecurity that we carry into relationships with people. With that said,

I have an Aries Descendant and a Scorpio stellium in my natal chart...

Person #1 who has an Aries Rising also had Sun in Aries. He really liked me but was a drama king and I suspected him of lying pathologically. For these reasons, although I liked him, I sent him walking. This situation was most balanced out of the 3.

Person #2 has a Scorpio Descendant (because he has a Taurus Rising) and I feel as though I liked him more at first than he liked me. He had a large number of repulsive traits, so regardless of my liking for him I had to send him walking.

Person #3 who has a Leo Rising never really even happened. He has an Aries Sun as I've mentioned (and falls in my 7th) and I KNOW this is just not going to happen with him. We've only gone one 1 date during which he was very difficult to read, but now after the fact it seems more and more that he has an interest in me and any interest I had in him waned. We went in opposite directions.

I'm sure there's more to it, perhaps like the dignity of the planets/aspects synastrically, and obviously the condition of the planets in each person's natal.

For example, with the 1st Aries Rising guy, his Rising and Sun has awesome dignity in my chart and awesome dignity in his OWN chart, a double whammy both ways!

The 2nd Taurus Rising fellow has his Venus in Virgo and Mars in Cancer...a double whammy alright :w00t:

The 3rd guy has his Sun in Aries also (but not his Rising!) and it does fall in dignity in my chart, but not as much in his (it's declining in the 9th). Plus the guy's Descendant is ruled by Saturn in Sagittarus and that is not who I am. :)

Hi
Catatonia can you ecplain what you mean by his planets having dignity in your chart? Perhaps an example would be good It seems they have a lot of fire in their charts

Thanks

excellent indicator
When looking at a woman’s chart the type of man she would look for is her sun sign and mars traits, plus 7th house planets and house cusp ruler and where that ruler was deposited.
When looking at a mans chart for the type of woman he would look for is his venus and moon sign and then 7th house planets and house cusp ruler and where that ruler was deposited.

Unfortunately, there is no set formula or signature for marriage or childbirth, although others may disagree, apparently horary and vedic seem confident in this area. There are indicators and potential as there would be with natal, solar return chart but guarantees -- (post 2 & 3 below)
http://www.astrologyweekly.com/forum/showthread.php?p=207744#post207744

Your chart is a blueprint of your personality, facets and penchants and the whole chart is 'potential' for development. There is nothing guaranteed or fatalistic in charts, I do believe we still do have free will. I also believe we chose our parents and childhood circumstances best suited to learning those Lessons in the best way we can.

I think it's worth bearing in mind that the natal chart, like solar returns is all about 'potential' but as we all know we don't always fulfil that potential do we.

It's like someone saying you can predict death, but with modern medicine and sciences the way they are and the potential to 'die' three times in a life, doesn't mean to say you will does it

I think lots of people have unrealistic expectations about what astrology can and can't do. astrology is an 'art, science and craft' and not clairvoyance either. If there were a formula or signature, don't you think we would ALL be using it?

Predicting marriage and/or having children can be done, but it is not easy, time consuming and intricate. There are lots of things to take into consideration like, secondary progressions, what inter-aspects one chart makes to another, Solar arcs, Solar returns, Transits etc

no offense, to anyone with a Scorpio Asc, but Scorpio Risings are like the biggest power trippers of the zodiac.. regardless of their sun sign... oh God... everything becomes just a power play.

What an interesting topic!

My bf and I share the same sun sign making them loosely conjunct in Taurus (on his descendant) which I know doesn't mean anything but the following does:

My Sun is conjunct his Mars in the 7th

apparently this placement isn't a very good one although it denotes sexual attraction... I read somewhere that it indicates a domineering partner and my bf is not that way at all. He is very protective of me though. Other than that I don't know what else this placement could mean.

My Venus and Mercury are conjunct his Sun in the 7th

There is a very strong emotional attraction between us. We want the same things out of life and get along very easily. This aspect I believe brings forth companionate love which is much needed in a permanent union once the passion "fades"... It also denotes loyalty on both parts.

As for Mercury... we have very interesting conversations and we spend a great amount of time talking, listening and debating with each other....

as someone stated earlier I also believe that first house placements also play a major role... My bf and I have those too, and that's where it gets challenging...I mean interesting :p

Selene,

Are your Sun, Mercury, Venus, and Mars all in Taurus or are some of them in Gemini? What degree is your boyfriend's Descendant? If any of them are in Gemini, let me know which ones. Thanks!
