Any thoughts on Mars (Scorpio) conjunct Pluto (Scorpio) in synastry? It also seems to say Pluto (Scorpio) conjuncts Mars (Scorpio) as well? Lol, sounds interesting enough. My Mars is 28 degrees Libra, just as a sidenote...haha, not sure if those degrees really matter.

Sun (Sag) conjunct Pluto (Libra) and Venus (Sag) trine Venus (Leo) found in the synastry as well.

I could go on, but I won't. Can't wait to hear thoughts! :whistling:

I have this configuration (mars and pluto in scorpio) in my chart. It makes me rage like a ************ at times, but other times, it means I get things done. What are yours and theirs mars and pluto signs?

No one else, at all? Over 100 views?

have you gone through the stickys??

May I suggest you read the 'welcome to the world of astrology’ and other ---sticky' at the top of this forum? It has some great explanations, links etc. At the top of every forum there are lots of ‘stickys’ which explain matters in that forum, along with guidelines & tips

There is a 'plethora' of information on AW, espec in the 'stickys' at the top of every forum, our Education forum and Recommendations forum to. Plus we have a good search feature,[but not foolproof obviously, so try here first] bit like google using keywords – initially select advanced and try just selecting 'titles' rather than posts or you'll get too many threads. If this doesn’t get results then try google

To start with it's best to look at the individual needs of each persons chart and how they relate and what they are looking for.

If you post the synastry chart and realise it doesn’t show the degrees (which we need to look at) you can find the degrees and other information in a separate PDF on the synastry page of astro.com. Look for the link "View the additional tables (PDF)" and click on it to see the additional information. Reading a synastry chart is mainly about reading the aspects between the planets in the two charts. So once you find the PDF, scroll down to the bottom of the page and look in the synastry grid that is there. Unfortunately, you can only see/read these and not save/upload. That’s why I like to see both natal’s and composite. This grid (in my opinion) has too many minor aspects and the orbs are quite wide. I like to use + - max 3’

posting a synastry bi wheel from astro.com remember to reduce the *orbs* to 50% and maximum orb should be 3’

When looking at a woman’s chart the type of man she would look for is her sun sign and mars traits, plus 7th house planets and house cusp ruler and where that ruler was deposited.
When looking at a mans chart for the type of woman he would look for is his venus and moon sign and then 7th house planets and house cusp ruler and where that ruler was deposited.

Although synastry is a valuable tool with astrology it cannot 'make things happen' even if you have the best synastry in the world unfortunately.

In synastry I use tight orbs and view aspects between one person's outer planets to the other person's inner planets as being "karmic connections"......usually with the outer planet person doing the teaching and the inner planet person doing the learning.

the reason I feel you have had little responses is that we are all visual people and need to SEE charts, pref both natals, synastry bi wheel and poss composite. The composite you can get interpreted on astro...
BUT you need accurate birth times for both people.

Composite charts
If you go to www.astro.com click on free horoscopes, go to Interactive horoscopes, go down to Astroclick partner, that will bring up a composite chart and when you put the mouse over a planet will bring up a pop up box with the interpretation......

But you do need both times of birth to be accurate though.. enjoy.

Composites describe the relationship, not either one of you, but what you came together to learn or to do and how the 'pair of you' function when together....

The Book ---Planets in Composite: Analyzing Human Relationships By Robert Hand-- is greatly recommended

“The composite doesn't seem to describe what either person feels about the other. In this way it is very different from synastry, which describes the chemistry between two people in terms of how they affect each other. The composite chart is like a child, a third entity which carries the genetic imprints of both parents but combines these imprints in an entirely new way and exists independently of either of them”

Duly noted! Thanks for the feedback, will definitely finish reviewing those links and making the suggested adjustments. With the percentages, I was wondering why use 50% vs. lets say 85%? I tried 85% earlier after doing some reading and such online.

in synastry the max orb allowed is 3' and that's why I suggest reducing the orbs for synastry.

In natal charts astro uses 10' wide orb accross the board, which for mainstream views is too wide and 85% brings it more in line with that.

Oh ok! I see now! That makes more sense!

I posted my natal chart and my solar return over on the 'read my chart' section if anyone wants to take a look (read: please take a look )!
