I've spent a good part of yesterday getting into transit interpretation and it's so much fun
it's just some aspects of it - for example "
1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing.",
angles to my AC/DC, MC/IC, progressions, house rulers and their relations to natal planets are still a bit too complicated for me. But I'm working on it
Oh, and I've memorized all the main glyphs, so no need to jump to check everytime anymore.
The Angles ARE MC/IC Asc/Desc. House rulers are used in natal chart interpretations not predictive matters.
Actually, I'm more interested in self analysis/improvement at the moment,
(lovely to hear this) in contrast with future forecasts, as I think it's more important to know yourself so you could deal with everything life throws at you.
So for my BC analysis the most important things are (by importance):
Sun, Moon and Asc, Chart ruler -what house it's placed, any stelliums,
1. Moon (in sign, house, aspects to other planets, especially opposition tu the Stellia, to sign/house rulers (?), what planets are in the house moon is the ruler(?))
2. Stellium/Stellia - Saturn/Jupiter/Sun/Pluto (conjunction, sign, house) and Pluto/Mercury/Ascendant (conjunction, sign) and their relation to the Moon.
3. Also my bucket side planets - Mars and Neptune (signs, houses, aspects, rulers(?))
4. Square between Venus/Uran and Mars (in signs/houses, rulers?)
5. Bucket/Kite formation specifics
6. What about MC/IC nodes? As I understand it's career/home in certain signs
MC is our professional image and how we want to be perceived in society, career/workwise, what we are/become known for which is different from Asc or sun sign
I have Saggi MC and can behave like extrovert sagg, teach, have interests in 9th house matters, religion, law, philosophy, always enjoy learning new things. But that's not the real me either, the real me is the 'sun sign' think of a glass milk bottle, the milk still has to 'come out' through the glass neck. The bottle being the Asc sign and most visible to other.
Plus the Asc sign is the chemistry, lust and attraction factor when boy meets girl, it's what gets a relationship going. BUT have you never heard (even from your school days) that after a few weeks or months, that mask and persona has to drop and you have to get to know the person underneath and that's totally different to the image we 'project' outwards.
7. True Node and Chiron? are they really important?
leave til last
8. Planet movement (i.e. retrograde or not) - is there a significant difference in interpretation?
retrograde planets natally are not easily expressed in fact they go inwards before they come out
9. Planet angles in signs - is there a difference in which 1/3 (or other part)of the sign they are? Angular house are the most important
Houses: angular houses 1/7 4/10 the energies of planets placed here are obvious cos it's your 'shop window' visible for everyone to see. Next the succeedent houses 2/8 & 5/11 the energies in these houses are not in shop window the are in the shop, but stood behind the counter, ready to come out when needed. Lastly, cadent houses 6/12 & 3/9 these houses/planets are not in shop window or stood behind the counter, they are in the back storeroom and only come out when 'triggered' or an emergency and much harder to recognise and access...
The houses are like the backdrop of a stage, the setting if you like, the planets are like actors and the aspects are how the planets behave in that settings/stage....
Are there some rules on how to build my own interpretation? (Center figure/fundament and so on).
Start with planets in signs, then planets in houses, then 'aspects'
Ok, many questions, none really requiring an answer, but I thought I'll just show what I think I know so you could give me some tips if you felt like it's worth giving any
)
Anyway, thenks for your help, this forum is just what I needed
