Primary directions of planets and angles to fixed stars

In your experiences do the conjunctions only have an effect, or do other ptolemiac aspects work as well?

A transit, progression or arc
can only activate a Fixed Star conjunction
already existent in the natal. :smile:
Fixed Stars and their effects are read on natal charts only,
Use very close orbs
One degree either way with the planets, asc, lot of fortune and MC
up to 2 degrees for stars of highest magnitude

Yes, as Jup posted, I've never heard of anyone directing to a fixed star. I mean, I suppose you could, but why would you want to?

William Lilly did them and includes delineations of the 5 hylegical places directed to various stars.

Naturally the directions will be stronger in effect if the star is prominent in the nativity, but I find that they have an effect either way.

Longitude alone is insufficient = Latitude as well as Declination of the planet/angles et al is essential
for purposes of comparison with Latitude and Declination of relevant Fixed Stars :smile:
