"Harmonic Life" natal charts

I happened upon this site today and created my chart. It figures in parallels, etc. and gives delineation too. However it does not let you put in the time so that changes how I would trust their moon aspects.

There are some aspects I don't agree with at all but lots I do.

Harmonic charts involve multiplying the positions of planets by a number so that they move to new points, and each number corresponds to a house, basically.
As I understand it the second Harmonic chart would shift things around such that oppositions become conjunctions,
in the 3rd harmonic trines would become conjunctions, in the 4th, squares become conjunctions.
The 1st harmonic is just your basic natal chart, so conjunctions are conjunctions.
The actual nuts-and-bolts of how it works are a bit hazy for me, and I haven't really looked at harmonic charts much at all so I couldn't say anything as to their usefulness or accuracy or anything, let alone interpretation.

Some VERY IMPORTANT words of caution:

1) DON'T EVER try to do aspects between harmonics of different numbers. They are totally different animals.

2) There are no signs or houses in harmonic charts. Remember that everything has been rearranged, so please don't do sign or house interpretations because they are no longer there. The purpose of harmonics is to get more information about aspects and aspect patterns.


Now, let's take a look at some actual harmonics and how they can add depth to horoscope interpretation.

The Fourth Harmonic: The 4th harmonic shows how we deal with stress, strain, and struggle. When you construct a 4th harmonic chart, all of the conjunction, square, and opposition aspects in the original horoscope appear as conjunctions and this makes them easier to see. Of course, these aspects are pretty easy to see in the original horoscope as well, so what's the point? The point is that the minor aspects, the semi-square (45 degrees) and sequa-square (135 degrees), which are difficult to spot by a quick visual inspection, now appear as oppositions, and can be seen at a glance. Not only that, but other minor stress aspects (22 ½ degrees, 67 ½ degrees, 157 ½ degrees), which can take a very long time to locate, now become squares. In the 4th harmonic, whole patterns of stress aspects can be spotted, and this gives you a big edge for interpretation.

The Fifth Harmonic: The 5th harmonic chart indicates talent, if any. In the 5th harmonic chart, all of the quintiles and bi-quintiles come together as conjunctions, making them very easy to spot. The semi-quintiles and sesqua-quintiles become oppositions. Quintiles are one fifth of a circle (72 degrees) and they give talent and power, and show our ability to put things together (pattern recognition). It also has to do with creative play, the joy of making up games of finding patterns (like looking for "patterns" of cracks in the ceiling, or always stepping on cracks in the sidewalk, or always avoiding the cracks). People with strong 5th harmonics do things like that all the time.

Of course, taken to the extreme, this is a mental disorder, but those with a strong 5th harmonic usually manage to keep it under control, and then it becomes the basis for creative talent. You don't need a strong 5th harmonic to succeed as an artist, designer, scientist, or engineer, but it really helps.

This aspect is considered somewhat similar to a semi-sextile (moderately beneficial), but effort is not needed to reap its benefits. Indicates talent and vaguely fortunate circumstances.

Aspect strength = 63.86%

Indicates derangement of the health, the nature of the illness threatened can be seen by the signs which the Sun and Saturn occupy. It is bad for business affairs, especially of the kind signified by the two planets. Obstacles, limitation, hindrance and delays, cause disappointment, sorrows and losses. The ambitions are thwarted, sometimes the native seems to be getting along splendidly, success seems close and sure, but suddenly inevitable conditions and reverses arise, resulting in downfall and loss. Aspect strength = 30.36%

One of the Male Sexual Aspects, it creates the ultimate high energy level, generates more pure energy than any other aspect, and rates as a Super Sports Champion Aspect (a term from Astrology Really Works!). But the Chiron -Mars aspect does not help coordination in the way the Venus-Mars aspect does. The native needs aspects that help coordination in order to most beneficially harness the energy this aspect provides. If the aspect in not well used and controlled through moral teachings, there can be constant moral slippage toward excessive aggressiveness, and even belligerency.


JUPITER Semisextile-30 degrees CHIRON with an error of 2.04 degrees.
Aspect strength = 48.91%

This is one of the most powerful of all aspects, as this Super Aspect provides the native with a fabulous public image and a commanding presence, which instills confidence and wins trust. It foretells a great destiny and career and can result in noteworthy success, ultimate intuitive genius, and success through charisma in anything ruled by Chiron. No matter how powerful and helpful one aspect is, though, there is no substitute for hard work, determination, and tenacity.


SATURN Sextile-60 degrees PLUTO with an error of .87 degrees.
Aspect strength = 78.29%

Burning desire for monumental and enforced change; ability to overhaul and drastically change and dominate a profession, industry, field, or area; this pairing is different from the Saturn + Neptune paring because with this pairing, there is the strong willingness and desire to bring about change in any way deemed necessary and at any cost, including violence if there are also Saturn aspects to Mars in the subject's chart.

** Turbulent Aspect **
This is a Cinderella aspect. Interpretations: long-term financial security through marriage, long-term family ties, long-term charisma, lasting noteworthiness, New Age ideas and inspirations, and becoming a real live Cinderella. It works on men, also. Since Neptune is the most feminine planet, this aspect imparts a soft, feminine charisma that is very appealing. Princess Diana was born with this aspect. Here's mine below. It's missing some aspects and it's different from what I've seen,but still cool. So thank you for sharing.

I only know of two types of harmonic charts...one is based on solely aspects and the other is a full harmonics chart. Here's one that I got that's based on life themes.

Technical Details of how the planetary patterns are determined: Each interpretation is based on a 3-planet pattern. The 3 planets are forming a midpoint structure where a planet forms one of the following aspects to the midpoint of 2 other planets: conjunct or opposition with 2 degee orb, square with 1 1/2 degree orb, semisquare or sesquiquadrate with a 1 degree orb, or 1/16, 3/16, 5/16, or 7/16 with a 30 minute orb. Also, the 3 planets are aspected to each other in the same harmonic. The harmonics analyzed are 1 through 64 and any doubling of these numbers, such as 120 which is a double of 60, up to 180. The total number of harmonics analyzed is 108. In the harmonic chart all 3 aspects are within a 12 degree orb. Also, any midpoint structure involving a conjunction or opposition aspect within a 1 1/2 degree orb, even if a harmonic triangle is not involved, is interpreted.

** Turbulent Aspect **
This is one of the most powerful aspects that is not a Super Aspect. It helps the native to be noteworthy and or charismatic. If the native also has a Super Aspect formed by Chiron, then he or she can have a hypnotic or mesmerizing influence on most of us. This is also a female Romance Aspect where the native (person born with the aspect), if female, has an unusually intense desire for marriage and children. Such women often marry and have children when they are very young.

What a load of nonsense. Then again, it's a computerized chart which doesn't even take houses or a proper Moon placement into account.
