My first house mars or venus??

So I found the date of the new moon right before I was born and then went to the ephermeris and looked up that date. On the date of the new moon before I was born, the ephermeris shows that sun was at 22°46'49 and the moon was at 12 (Pisces) 5

Well done! You found that your natal Part of Fortune was at 24 degrees Gemini
then next we find the planet with the most dignity at that degree
check the TABLE OF ESSENTIAL DIGNITIES for that
it's good practice for you

Next we need to find the degree of the Moon at the FULL MOON preceding your birth

Looking at your natal chart
there was likely a FULL MOON approximately fourteen days before your birth :smile:

HI!!

OK.. the full moon before my day of birth was

Pisces 12° 5'15"

I still have to look up POF part... I will have to do that this evening. :)
This is fun!!!

On the contrary Part of Fortune is very important in traditional and ancient astrology :smile:

It's the PLANET that has most dignity at 24 degrees Gemini that is important
because that planet is involved with 'Fortune'

The Lot or Part of Fortune is the gateway to a system of delineation
Fortune operates as an ascendant, becoming the "new east"
and providing an invisible second chart, placed upon the first, having all the houses related to it, as if it were a new chart.

So POF and the moon in pisces are both peregrine.


So we have:
Sun - peregine
Moon - essentially dignified and (apply 3pts if in trip.)
Acs - dignified in house (venus rules libra, my asc is libra)
P.O. Fortune and syzygy - both peregine.


So part 1 is done. Do I now only have 3 points?
What about the rest? I will try my hand at part #2 - please let me know what you think.


2. Add 7 points for the Day ruler and 6 points to the Hour ruler.

I found this site http://www.lunarium.co.uk/planets/hours.jsp?selectedDate=21/09/15

If what I am doing is correct, my day ruler would be Jupiter and my hour ruler is the sun.

Im not sure about the points? Do I find the dignity for the sun and jupiter as well??




3. Add accidental dignities scores. I have no idea where to go with this?

For the planet in 1st house you add 12 points.
10th house = 11 points
7th house = 10
4th house = 9
11th = 8
5th = 7
2nd = 6
9th = 5
8th = 4
3rd = 3
12th = 2
6th = 1

The planet which has most points in the aforesaid places is the Almutem Figuris of the chart!

POF cannot be peregrine as it is not a planet :smile:
We need to determine the planet that has MOST DIGNITY at the DEGREE of the POF

Taurus Moon has dignity by Exaltation therefore is NOT peregrine

24 Libra is DOMICILE of Venus = +5
TERM of Mercury = +2
Exaltation of Saturn (= +4) AND Triplicity of Saturn (= +3) of Saturn = +7
Saturn has more ESSENTIAL DIGNITY AT THE DEGREE OCCUPIED BY ASCENDANT than Mercury :smile:

Mercury has more ESSENTIAL DIGNITY at the degree occupied by POF than Venus
