A question about transits..

Hey ! So I noticed that I have twice the same transit happening right now (wtf) lile the sun is sextile my natal venus and at the same time venus is sextile my natal sun and I don't know if it's really important ? Does it mean it will probably have a big ingluence ?
Thanks if you answer me

Probably not. Both the Sun and Venus move about one degree a day and therefore the aspects don't last long. the "activator" planets are Mars, Jupiter, Uranus.
The "stage setters" are Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, Pluto.

Not possible to say with any reliability without viewing the natal chart
and so these are the instructions
HOW TO ATTACH A CHART TO YOUR POST ON THE FORUM

Probably not.
Not necessarily

because
without viewing an actual chart
one may only generalise
and although generalising is fun and tempting
it is notoriously unreliable

That depends on the astrological methodology one prefers
for example
When assessing transits, Profection is much more reliable
but is not used by the vast majority of modernists

fact is
even if Sun and Venus travel approximately one degree per day
when Sun and/or Venus are intensified by Profection
then they activate events

I don't agree. They might be part of a larger picture but taken alone, the Sun and Venus do not activate something not already "becoming."

I've always used transits and never used profections. And been pretty accurate. Although for me, prediction is more about trend and not pinpointing the actual date of any event. I never want to tell anyone that something will definitely happen or not happen....except if I can't avoid it. And it's always because of reading both the natal and transits.

So, again, there is more than one way to reach conclusions!

If you are learning astrology, it's up to you to figure out which system/s you want to use. Never let disagreement between astrologers bother you. We often disagree with each other. And it's your own research that will inform you.

if you have never used Profections
or other Time Lord Techniques
then you have no experience of their accuracy

Well certainly it is a fact that astrologers frequently disagree

also
there are multiple methodologies

some astrologers never use TROPICAL charts
other astrologers never use SIDEREAL charts

there are VEDIC as well as Chinese and Tibetan astrologers
Horary as well as Natal

so each to their own

by the way this link explains visually the differences
between TROPICAL and SIDEREAL measurement
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=82p-DYgGFjI&feature=related

there are also Modernist astrologers and Traditional astrologers
Traditional astrologers use Profection
a few Modernist do as well
but ultimately you need to use the methods for yourself
then decide

"if you have never used Profections

I NEVER said this. I said that despite NOT using them I have been accurate.

Don't be so defensive-:surprised:
I would never tell a student NOT to use something. And I would never say another method was inaccurate unless I had put time in studying it and finding it fruitless.

There are a LOT of techniques I do not use. I think that we can all agree that it would be impossible to use every technique available to do every reading.
I'd have to charge $1000 for my reading!!

And frankly, I have found most clients have limited understanding with technical astrological terms and tend to want the bottom line.....more or less. I love it when a clients gets "into" the definitions and techniques...but they are few. It's sort of a balancing act. A client needs to have confidence in the astrologer but overloading them doesn't help.

And students: beginner astrology is excruciating....everyone wants "instant wisdom"! and..generalizations that make it faster and easier to be accurate. Impossible....
