Saturn and Capricorn

Here's a thread to discuss the role Saturn has on our lives and its' sign it rules over: Capricorn (Dec 21-Jan 21 birthdays). Saturn is the planet of cold, death, science and time. These traits are exhibited in the sign of Capricorn. Our natal charts with strong Saturn placements or Capricorn in our houses might gave us a scientific advantage. However, Saturn is a malefic and along with Capricorn, they represent negative traits like aging, disability, disease and medical issues.

But Saturn can be positive in the long-run because it represent mastery, building a solid foundation, and taking things seriously with practical, hard-headed, realism.

Saturn also represents karma, right? Do people with strong Saturns have karmic debt that they need to pay back?

Saturn and Capricorn are opposite the Moon and Cancer in the astrological zodiac. Capricorn is about the future while Cancer looks back on the past, they tend to be nation builders while Cancers are family heads and Capricorn is a cure while Cancer is also a name of a disease. What Capricorn and Cancer have in common is a gothic, dreadful, pessimist and fatalist view of life, same with realistic Aquarians and of course, Scorpios.

The Ages overlap one Sign. There's a foreground Sign and a background Sign for each Age, where "Age" refers to the foreground Sign. Sidereally, the Age of (foreground) Pisces, background Aries is shifting into the Age of (foreground) Aquarius, background Pisces.
Tropically, it's the Age of (foreground) Capricorn, background Sagittarius. This has caused the Saturn versus Jupiter scenario, which became the mundane paradigm c.400A.D., causing Rome to fall, the Dark Ages to began, and Christianity to replace the Greco-Roman pantheon. As foreground Age-ruler, Saturn has had the upper hand. Next will be the Age of (foreground) Aquarius, ruled by Ouranos:uranus:, and background Capricorn. Ouranos, as foreground Age-ruler, will have the advantage over Saturn, soon to become the background Age-ruler.

"Uranus" is a modern bastardization of the name of the Ancient-Greek god of the Heavens, Ouranos. The Roman version was Caelus. "Uranus" is neither Greek nor Latin, and one wonders why it was considered necessary to distort the Greek name for the ruler of Aquarius, and then falsely claim it's the translation of Ouranos into Latin. That would be Caelus.

I disagree with this view.

Saturn of Capricorn, an Earth sign, is the NOW in manifested form that is a result of past action (cause breeds effect). Uranus is the (yet to manifest ideas) current future that, itself, then becomes outdated after (a combination of )7 years, to get stored away (Capricorn of Aquarius) as new trends of ideas replace it. These are invariably built upon and/or are the result of past experience (Saturn?).

Moon is the memory bank of the past in which all imagery of it is stored. As water sign and planet they represent the internal (instinctive) feeling attitude regarding external situations. Cancer is shallow water and not as deep as Scorpio and Pisces. Memory does not lie too deep beneath the surface , which makes it easier for it to be recalled.

Saturn represents the harvest, planning and organization...but the harvest season is usually from Virgo to Scorpio. Saturn is exalted in Libra, oddly after Virgo is sometimes symbolized with a wheat sheaf. Harvest season can start on Aug 1st (halfway through Leo) and last until Nov 1st (halfway through Scorpio).

The proposed name for Uranus after discovery in 1781 was originally Prometheus, but astronomers decidedly didn't name the planet this way.

Prometheus (/prəˈmiːθiəs/ prə-MEE-thee-əs; Greek: Προμηθεύς [promɛːtʰeús], meaning "forethought")[1] is a Titan in Greek mythology, best known as the deity in Greek mythology who was the creator of mankind and its greatest benefactor, who stole fire from Mount Olympus and gave it to mankind.
Courtesy of Wikipedia.

It's still the 7th planet of the solar system, while Neptune is the 8th AND last one (ruler of Pisces, the fishy sign under the god of the seas). Uranus as a number 7 has to do with God or the supreme deity/cosmic spiritual force.

The "geek syndrome" is common among people with a Capricorn 3rd house or a Gemini 10th house, as well certain Saturn (and Mercury) aspects in charts. The stereotypical geeks have an interest in computers and video games, fanfare in sci-fi or anime, and impaired social skills (the risk of having autism is greater). My Saturn (3rd in Virgo) opposite Mercury (9th in pisces), as well cases of Mercury or Saturn rising, is theorized to have a higher risk of not only high intellect, but mental impairments. And I have high-functioning autism-diagnosed at age 4 - with sun/moon conjunction in Aquarius.
