Is Mundane-astrology exclusively focused on the Natal-charts of individuals who affect world events, or on the overall Astrological conditions that correspond to, and predict the nature and outcome of those events? I would have thought it was the latter, but a great deal of attention has been devoted to specific characteristics of the Natal-charts of the two major-Party candidates in this Mundane forum.
Also, is Mundane-astrology considered Traditional, which would rule out using the outer-three major, Modern planets? Notice how often it's stated that Pluto entering Capricorn correlated to world-wide economic problems. I could point to Neptune entering Leo at the start of WWI, including the trigger which involved royalty. And having entered Aries at the start of the Civil War, a war of unification, etc. But, if it's Traditional, such correlations would technically be out of place in this forum.

Mundane is the earliest form of astrology, but a lot of modern astrologers like to do mundane as well.

Traditionally you'd first look at things like ingress charts, eclipses, cycles of the Jupiter-Saturn conjunctions, and then charts of dynasties and individual leaders to see how they all meshed. Even now you can pick up quite a bit from ingress charts, eclipses, and the great conjunction cycles alone. There is also use for horary in matters of war, that can maybe be stretched to voting contests - see the stuff on skyscript that Mark Cullen did about Brexit, or Nina Gryphon's work on US elections.

Modern mundane astrology seems to focus more on the charts of leaders or potential leaders, and comparing them to country charts, rather than the charts of cycles (eclipse, ingress, great conjunction).

The description of the Forum would appear to include ANYTHING Astrological that applies to the "world in general". Like, say, the political, cultural, and economic ramifications of Astrological Ages.:innocent:
