Mars will move direct on 10 December at 8-Taurus. After a 70-day retrograde that begain Oct. 1, 2005 - the red planet will begin its transits through the constellation Taurus - where Mars has been stationed since late July 2005.

In making its stationary direct motion on Dec. 10 - Mars is a key player with the transits of Jupiter, Saturn and Neptune in fixed sign constellations into 2006.

Mars is now applying to a square to Saturn, retrograde now in Leo. There are frustrations worldwide that have been building since late summer and the unsympathic outlooks create violent situations that should be neutralized by using common sense and practical applications to avoid this malefic transit between Mars and Saturn. The frustrations are fixed in the signs Taurus, and Leo, but spread to Scorpio, where Jupiter is now transiting and rising before the rise of the Sun.

The Mars-Saturn square will also build to a parallel between the two planets this winter. It is essential to remain calm in conflict and to use practical measures to ward off feelings of frustration that this aspect can influence.

Jupiter, now rising in tropical Scorpio, is opposing Mars. Jupiter will be "Lord of the Month" in mid-December through mid-January and is superior position to Mars.

A typical Mars-Jupiter opposition would bring dangers in travel and conflicts among professionals and within families. This opposition also greatly inflates the ego of others who are unbalanced and rely on less planetary positions to achieve their goals rather than using their entire natal transits. Battles between opposites can occur under this transit and in December 2005 and January 2006 these battles will spread globally because of the lack of cooperation between people and the pitched egos that maintain a might makes right attitude that helps to create an extended period of conflicts.

Jupiter though, rules this opposition by day and Mars rules the opposition by night. Therefore, those who are honest and want to achieve their goals can do so in the early mornings, noon and until Jupiter sets about 4:eek:o p.m. local time worldwide.

Mars, active at night, is dangerous, unstable, materialistic and quite malefic. In its square to Saturn, frustrations abound and thieves are very busy during the Christian holiday season. Travel is not advised during December 2005 through April 2006.

Mars picks up speed in January 2006 and by February 1st - reaches the point of its prior retrograde at 22/23 Taurus and conjoins the Pleiades. Expect more dire world news and events that signal increased wars and conflicts as Mars enters tropical Gemini by 18 February 2006.

In February, Mars is very active and malefic - especially from Feb. 10 to Feb. 16 and it is advised that those having issues and/or conflicts try to resolve them in December and wait though the winter months by not adding to the frustration this Mars transit can bring - especially to those uneducated in the astrological sciences.

Look for repeats of world events that took place just before, during and after the Dec. 10, 2005 Mars retrograde.

With Mars moving direct in tropical Taurus - it is important to watch the world news in January, February and March.
