Rahu in 1st house in Ascendant Chart but in 7th in Navamsa Chart

what does it mean when Rahu is in the 1st house in Ascendant Chart but in 7th house in Navamsa Chart?

In natal chart, Rahu in 1st house can make oneself self-centered. Rahu, if powerful in 1st can make the native famous. There is a proverb that 'if Rahu is in 1st, 100 people will follow him/her".

When Rahu is in 1st, Ketu automatically remains in 7th. the position of Ketu in 7th is not favorable, as it creates problem to satisfy the spouse. Generally speaking, person with Ketu in 7th find it difficult to satisfy spouse.

But, if these Rahu or Ketu make connection with lord of trine ( 5/7 L) then they become Yogakarak ( special combination)and can do immense good to the native and general rule will not apply.

Understanding of Navamsa is not that simple and needs more information before any interpretation can be made.

From what I understand, Ketu is what we have experienced in our past life. Let's say Ketu is in 7th house. In past life that person was in long term relationships and has experienced that, but now they should learn how to be dependent on themselves, figure out what they want in life, their calling.
That doesn't necessarily mean that person is self-centered. Does it?

So let's say in birth chart Rahu is in the 1st House. (Which makes Ketu in 7th) and in Nevamsa chart Ketu is in the 1st and Rahu in 7th.
So if Jupiter is in 11th house (in Virgo in natal and in Gemini in Nevamsa) in both charts, it is aspecting Ketu in birth chart from its 9th aspect, and in Nevamsa chart Jupiter is aspecting Rahu from its 9th aspect. Does it help to have that combination?

Also, you mentioned if Rahu is powerful in 1st house that person can become famous. What kind of placement would make Rahu that powerful?

And isn't Nevamsa chart like second part of persons life?

Astrology is not that simple that you would understand the chart in piecemeal.

You are feeling shy to discuss the chart in forum, that is perfectly alright, but don't make a mistake to see/understand a chart in piecemeal.. that is dangerous as leads to misinterpretation. Read the story below:

Four blind people touched different parts of elephant and described elephant in different ways. Example, First person described it as 'Pillar" ( by touching legs), second person as "Big Tube" ( by touching trunk) etc.

My advice is to forget about navamsa at this stage. Try to understand natal chart fully first. This is the main main chart.

Oh I am not shy. I've actually posted my birth chart before so that's not a problem. I know that astrology is not that simple that's why I am asking so many questions.

I am just trying to learn. If providing my chart will help me understand it better than here it is.

hello rajarshi ,,

I have Rahu in Asc in pisces with Moon(5th lord) and Jupiter (1/10 lord) ,,i have a highly inflated ego ,,very self centered ,its hard for me to get along with people and socialize .I have never made friends in my life but i'hv always had a few companion for help ....

and about ketu in 7th being unfavorable .,,i have been running ketu mahadasha since 2009 .It took away my job ,,friends ,love ..and has left me alienated from society ..I also agree that ketu in 7th makes one weak in sexual context .

Dear Tammyt,

Sorry, i am deviating from the subject.

Saturn is only 0.02 degree in Aquarius and Sun is in same house in this chart,which makes Saturn quite weak. Please consult professionals as weak Saturn will create serious problem.

What about Rahu in the 1st house in the natal chart, Rahu transiting the 1st house presently and the person is going through seven and half Saturn period and he is also running Saturn Dasa, Rahu Bhukti. This boy was born in Vishaka star, Virschaka rasi. When Rahu transits at the end of this year, he will be moving to the 12 house and it will be under the 7th house aspect of Saturn. See the natal chart.

The boy is 17 years old and in school and his grades have started slipping badly in the last year and half. He also started spending more time in trying to pick up Islam during this time and his parents are very upset about it. Being a Virschaka rasi, he is also very stubborn. What is in store for him. Will he do well in school and get into college? Will he change religion or be a Hindu like his parents want him to?

Dear Rajashri Madam
In my chart in lagna RAHU and VENUS on 1st house in makara rasi .makka star and shima rasi
And 3rd house is mars in meena rasi
And 5th house Saturn and 8th house moon
And 7th house Ketu and 10 house Jupiter and mercury
And 12 house sun
I'm under the mars dasa and Ketu antardasha
I'm going tough time how is my rahu dasa which start from 2015.
I read some place the malfic effect of rahu and Ketu will be effect only 42 years that is true .
I have lot of health prb

It's a period for enjoying family life, auspicious aspect of Jupiter on MD lord (in 7th house) and Anterdasha lord exalted sign Venus. Possibility of some good news related to fifth house, may related to child etc. Confirmation is possible from Saptansha chart.
May be some education new knowledge related is also possible.
Just take care of lower abdomen areas.
