I am wondering if anyone can tell me what generally might be expected in the case of a transiting Saturn in Virgo conjunct ASC/South node? This happened to a friend of mine who went through some events at that time, and I am unable to find anything else in the chart that might indicate these events would occur.
That alone sounds like quite a major transit and a difficult time, but have a look at your friend's secondary progressed, solar arc, or solar return charts for the same period and you may find other evidence of those events in one or more of those charts.
