Fears connected to recurring transit
My natal chart has Sun in Gemini at 22 degrees square the Moon at 22 degrees virgo. I began my interest in astrology after reading book and predicted upcoming changes connected to a Uranus transit at 22 degrees. As I look back at the 22 degree mark significant events have occured such as two significant moves which changed my life and not necessarily for the good. Needless to say, with Unranus again at 22 degrees I began to panic and have been digging for months to figure out what I can expect with progressions, solar returns, lunar returns, etc. In addition, it is opposite the moon and squaring my sun. In the progressions the only thing I can note is progressed sun is at 9' 27 leo (which just experienced an eclipse as we all know ) or 1 and half degrees past my natal venus/mars conjunction and the midpoint between sun/moon. I am at a loss as to how to combine all this information, how to piece it all together as each thing has multiple layers. Can anyone give me guidance on the steps to follow with so much information? It seems fairly easy to look backward and say "oh that was that" but looking forward seems really difficult.

Re: Fears connected to recurring transit
Cassanra, I think the best thing to do is to reflect on how successfully you feel you incorporate the energy of Uranus into your daily life. People who resist change generally find transiting Uranus more difficult than people who welcome change.
I also think, based upon some recent experiments in my own life, that major transits go a lot better if people actively incorporate elements of that transit into their lives, rather than passively being blind-sided by them. You might consider where in your life you might benefit from breaking out of rigid structures and liberating yourself. Especially look at your sun's and moon's houses as good areas of life in which to break free from old habits that limit you. Even if you just take small steps in this direction, you can start to feel a bit more in control.
Fortunately Gemini should enjoy versatility and Virgo pursues self-improvement, which could both utilize a Uranus transit to good effect.
But do be careful & avoid the potential for sudden accidents or arguments!

Re: Fears connected to recurring transit
Thanks...that is food for thought. ....no pun intended but funny the sun is the third house of thinking/communication/agreements/movement and Virgo is in the sixth house of health, work, and service to others. I would not have thought of considering how I tend to respond t ....Uranus is conjoined mars/venus in fifth house natally and only though them does it aspect any other planet. I am assuming that the natal affect colors future sensivitivy to it.

If you have Sun at 22 Gemini, how on earth can you have Uranus conjoining Natal Venus, You are aware that Uranus is currently at 21 Pisces? Venus cannot be more than 47 degrees away from the Sun. 22 Gem to 22 Pi adds up to 90 degrees.
Can you post up your chart?

Re: Fears connected to recurring transit
Sorry about that I meant radical uranus not transitting uranus.

Re: Fears connected to recurring transit
Nice chart!
The transit of Uranus to Sun and Moon from my experience, (I have a close Sun-Moon Quincunx, which means that most transits to one is a transit to both.)
When I experienced that I remember a lot of new opportunities, a lot of new stimulation, situations, people, but also quite a bit of mental tension.
Looking at the natal chart you are probably quite a dynamic extroverted type anyway, with Uranus conjunct chart ruler-Mars and Venus in the 5th.
Move of residence is obvious. 4th house ruler-Moon.
Changes at work are obvious too. sixth house ruler-Sun.
The other thing you look at is the 12th house. Secrets, you unconscious mind, stuff that you don't know about yourself.
In a couple of years time, maybe four, you will need to look at your Ascendant, Mercury, and Saturn, your career and your home will definitely change RADICALLY then, with Uranus on the ASC and Pluto in the MC. Those are the really big transits, not just for you but for anyone with planets in early Cardinal.

Re: Fears connected to recurring transit
THANKS! Though I have dabbled with astrology over many years I have been learning everything I can for the last year trying to ward off some unknown future when I saw that 22! But as you say mental stimulation, new situations....my office moved, I had an opportunity to interview for two managment openings (which I did not get) and have had two assistants either move up or move....my life since Uranus came to 18 degrees has been full of mental tension, new stimulation and lately a heart monitor as I would wake up with my hear racing! I have not moved myself...yet....it seems like every one else has this time but I still have a quite a few months of retrograde activity before it ends. Thanks for sharing...it was helpful. Of interest...I recently changed my direction in work. I am a counselor and an opportunity came open to begin working with a rehab. hospital where individuals are overcoming severe physical injuries. 12th house! I did not think about that till just now....kind of wierd.. I have no idea if my chart loaded. I am not a computer person so I struggled with that for awhile....my 13 year old daughter had to help so I have no idea:38:

Re: Fears connected to recurring transit
Insomnia is something I had during that double transit. With so much stuff buzzing around in your head, I found I didn't ever sleep. And when you don't sleep, in the daytime the results of Uranus, even if they seem unexpected.... if you're doing too much stuff too quickly, you could easily trip. I guess it's important to sleep... the lessons of Neptune.
So you got a job in a hospital helping people recuperate from physical injuries...that fits the 12th and Pisces to a T, also helped by your virgo Moon in the 6th.
As for me, Uranus is moving onto my natal Descendent (Pi 25) trine natal Sun (Scorp 25). Life is pretty boring at the moment, even though it's only a couple of degrees out of orb. Thankfully it is a trine to my natal Sun, which means that I am hoping that new opportunities come around this time without too much stress.

Re: Fears connected to recurring transit
Interesting you mentioning the trine. I pulled old info from years ago and tracked the 22 degree mark through time. It seems even when it was a trine to sun or moon there was some significant event. the last trine for me was in Aquarious to my sun and I had to make a big decision as to make a move with a group of friends or stick it out here. Lots of pressure. It was a tough one and to this day I am not sure it was karmically the best one . It seems like things build and you can sort of see them coming but its like a storm you never know if its going to blow by or hit you head on.Its still a surprise to the nervous system. Maybe Uranus gives us a little of its pyschic ability. Well, I wonder what agreements and relationship issues will crop up for you this go around since it is moving into the 7th.
