Healing,Community or Creative Career

Hi all,

I am wondering whether the best career for me would be either something artistic/creative, something to do with community projects/caring or the healing arts....I want to do the thing that best reflects and suits me and also something that will benefit others(so my personality has to fit my job very well)

I would love any tips from others who can see which path would suit me the most

well, i'm not prof but i really think it should be art may be acting or singing. why? your moon in pisces in the 5th house, your true node and pars fortuna in leo in the 10th house, the stelium in taurus with venus on throne....in the 7th house. your neptune in sagittarius in the house of communication and nevertheless pluto on the ascendant in libra. it gives streingth and mistic to your very attractive asc.
jupiter and saturn in the 12 house of course give you self-consciousness and psychological understanding of others. so you decide what to do. 4 me you can do both.

Thanks so much for your reply it opened up a lot of possibilities for me as when I said creative I guess I meant Art like drawring etc the thought of acting/singing hadnt entered my head but when I read your words it gave me a good feeling about doing it!! I know really my Leo NN wants me to be in the limelight however I have tried to avoid this at any costs but I have to change that...I was thinking today walking along about the way I walk its quite a dont look at me dont notice me sort of walk and I just thought do i really want to go thru life being unnoticed and in the background!

When I was young I wanted to dance...ballet but I wasnt allowed to learn it as I was brought up Jehovahs Witness and my father was very controlling enjoyment was not allowed...Also singing I always wanted to sing too but I was always told I couldnt at home so that dream died too but I have realised recently so much of it is self belief...i do sing well on my own but if someone else is there then my lack of confidence kills my voice! I remember reading though that if you want to find an enjoyable career then look to your childhood what did you really enjoy then there will be something in it now...

Venus rules 8th and 12th, which can give healing through artistic and beautiful activity. If your childhood self expression was supressed then that should be taken into account when asking what you loved as I child. The Leo NN in 10th is such a shiney one. Cancer and Pisces are artistic, so is the sun. Art leaning much stronger than straight out healing signs, although pluto on ascendent brings abilities.

How about singing lessons where you can explore your voice and bring confidence into your self. The singing voice changes with lessons as you explore how the resonance of the voice within the body works. Cells expand strecgthen change etc.

Thanks for your reply...yes I can see what you are saying my childhood was tough so I was likely looking for anyway to express my self...

Singing lessons is a fab idea I actually went and searched the net for some locally now have to see if can afford them!

The healing thing came up cos when I got to about 19 I became interested in natural medicine and spirituality and then I have had some readings done over the years and they kept saying I was a healer so the first thing that came to mind was to try and learn some therapies to help others heal but I am realising there are so many ways to bring about healing music and art definately can...

Been having a think too and theres no hurry I can explore different avenues until I find what I enjoy and can be strong at...

btw wwould you also look to Chiron for healing abilities? when i had people saying im a healer i looked at my chart and noticed there are a lot of chiron aspects but i did not know whether they were strong indicators or not...

You have Chiron in Taurus.....aswell!! Yes for me chiron is important indicator in healing, as it is very important for the healer to also be on a healing journey so that they dont contaminate another's healing with their won stuff, hope that makes sense. Your healing journey brings you more compassion, and a lighter journey on earth in a way (doesn't mean it cant be tough at times). And yes I agree that there are many ways to heal. Sometimes it can just be your presence in the room, can allow that space for something to happen. Some will think I am crazy, all I can say is this is my experience of life and what holds true for me.

I was out tonight and a piece of Mopzart came on and my whole body lite and vibrated with such a beatuiful internal resonance, like my ethric body wa going through some realignment, I knew it was my body responding to the music. It really lifted me up and put me in touch with my inner sense.

You have a lovely positive openess to exploring your creative future, which makes me feel really good about your future.

Sorry for taking sooooo long to reply to your lovely post I am online much more now hurrah!

I dont think you are mad there are so many more things going on than that which we can see...Yes on one of the readings I had this intuitive woman told me that i am a healer but i had forgotten to start with myself first...at the moment I am focusing on healing me as I know I cant heal anyone else before that happens...creativity could also help this process..

I have strong reactions to music too it makes me feel alive...the right music that is! What a beautiful experience you had!

I am thinking of going for it...I have found that the local college does a BTEC in performing arts it is only a 1 year course so I wouldnt be over commited if its not for me..also theres a lot of help for someone in my situation(a single parent on benefits) so hey I may just give it a go!!

Sounds like Performing Arts has thrown you a gift. Beautiful.... and time is meaningless when the right things are said at the right time...lol

There's lots of people who understand where I am coming from, and just as many who dont....maybe it is a reflection of the unlimited potential of life that crystalises into reality for each of us. Me personally.... I love my special experiences of body mind soul and spirit they are what make me feel alive.

I have Chiron in Taurus as well. I have been thinking about doing dance as part of my healing and in facilitating the healing of others. I definitely need to be more grounded in my body and generally loving towards it!
