Grand trine?

I really need help figuring out my chart. I'm sick of all these computer generated charts because they're telling me different things about my chart. Some are telling me my moon is in Aquarius, some say Pisces. I've been entering the same, exact time in all of them too.

The charts that say my Moon is in Pisces show a very wide grand trine through Mars in Scorpio & Jupiter in Cancer.

Could someone please verify whether I really DO have a grand trine or not and my exact degrees?

A lot of people use Astrodienst I notice. Is it really accurate?

Re: Grand trine?

Hi DeLaSoul

I use Astrology for Windows from halloran.com. It's a free download and enables you to calculate charts and aspects - not bad for a freebie. The only problem I have found is that Daylight Saving Time start and end dates need to be verified.

According to this computer program your Moon is at 04° Pisces 02'.

The program works with 6° orbs for aspects, so although you have trines from Moon to Jupiter and Moon to Mars, it does not give a trine from Mars at 02° Scorpio 35' to Jupiter at 10° Cancer 43'. So there is no grand trine.

Astrodienst works with orbs of 10° for aspects. Personally I feel this is a little wide, but on that program you would have a grand trine in your chart.

Hope this is of some help.

Best wishes.

OK... I'm prejudiced 'cause I am a professional astrologer... maybe you need a good reading from a human professional... would you go to a human doctor or trust your health to a computer program?

I think it's wonderful to want to understand your chart, but as you see, you're working in the dark... before I studied astrology, I had my chart read by a professional. Then at least I knew what I was looking at in my chart...

Re: Grand trine?

Just an after thought, DeLaSoul

Are you certain you clicked on the PM button for your birth time when calculating your chart? Most computer programs default to AM and at 5.25am your Moon would be at 27° Aquarius 09'. Could explain the discrepancy.
