signs and conjunctions in synastry

Does anyone know if the sign where a conjunction happens makes a difference? Do the signs matter for the interpretation?

Thanks

The Sun/Moon conjunction was one of the biggest predictors of marriage in Jung's research. My x and I also had that conjunction in Leo (her Sun, my Moon). The divorce was spectacular!

But your conjunction is more as it should be with the male's Sun and the woman's Moon.

Re: signs and conjunctions in synastry

My moon (Scorp) trines his Sun (Gemini) and my Venus (Scorp) trines his Venus (cancer) and my Mars (Scorp) trines his Venus (cancer)... the attraction is very strong and undeniable, these energies are wonderful,

but in Composite our composite Sun conjuncts Chiron and Mars opp Saturn and Uranus and Pluto make difficult aspects to luminaries,

but I am unable to forget him with our composite Venus conjunct Pluto (the same as you). I wonder if he also feels the Venus-Pluto power or am I the only one to do the obsessing?

Re: signs and conjunctions in synastry

Cutesag,

mine has also Uranus, Pluto (Virgo) opposite Saturn (Pisces), squaring his Sun (Gemini) and sextiling his Venus (Cancer) and Neptune (Scorpio). So he has Uranus sextile Venus and Pluto sextile Venus in his chart. And Saturn and Neptune trine his Venus.

Please notice that people like him (born around 1965) have now transiting Saturn conjuncting their Pluto-Uranus and transiting Uranus conjuncting their Saturn, so a overall huge conflict between freedom and restrictions... they have to change their life and make important choices. I think that these impersonal energies are very difficult to handle for them. Maybe this moment is just a difficult one and afterwards the tension will release a bit.

I can just say that a relationship with nice aspects between luminaries and Venus and Mars (like our cases) is a big love. Maybe we must just wait.

Re: signs and conjunctions in synastry

It depends on when your love in born... mine is in June 1965 and with his natal Uranus and Pluto in the middle of Virgo and Saturn in the middle of Pisces, I think it takes 1-2 years or even more cos the outer planets move very slowly. You can look at astro.com, choose natal chart and transits.

But never loose hope until it proves impossible. My Moon is in Scorpio, too, it is a tough placement, makes very sensitive and moody, always fighting with powerful emotions like with inner demons.
