does venus square uranus ALWAYS express itself as a short lived relationship?

I'm just curious if it allways manifests this way or if there are other venues of expression. We also have some strong aspects/chemistry including some good Saturn positions but I know we both have Venus square Neptune and Uranus in both of our natal charts. I only just vaguely understand that the aspect in our synastry can also ignite those aspects in our own natal charts. I've read a theory that the people involved in the harsh aspect in the synastry; who also have that aspect natally, can handle the energy so that it isnt so problematic.

Any insightful information into these elements when performing a synastry assessment would be greatly appreciated in the long haul.
