Lilith Aspects

Hi Everyone,

I've been searching for some info on Lilith on the net lately, but there doesn't seem to be that much around that gets into it with detail. I'd like to learn a bit more how some astrologers here apply Lilith in their interpretation of a chart, and more specifically, I'd like to know, what can be said about a trine between Lilith and Venus, as I have one in my chart along with the Sun squaring Lilith. Any insight into these aspects and others concerning Lilith would be appreciated.

Lilith represents your guts to stand up for yourself, tell the truth, make sure justice is served, talk about things that make others uncomfortable but that need to be brought out into the open.

In its more extreme form it can cause aggression and violence. There is the association with the "woman scorned" and "black widow spider" because it is prominent in many women who get extreme revenge when they feel they were wronged. These actions may seem sudden but they are actually a result of longstanding feelings of being taken advantage of and feeling powerless.

Of course, having a lilith prominent doesn't usually cause most people to act this way, there needs to be several other chart factors that agree. More often it manifests as a strong desire to not let other people walk all over you and to speak your personal truth regardless of the consequences. The sense of justice is very strong and these people hate to see violations of justice either to themselves or others.

I have found that by meditating upon a planet/asteroids essence, it seems possible to access support from its energetic expression. For me, these bodies are angelic principles that avail themselves to us while we are incarnate upon the earth.
I focus upon Lilith's positive energy not its negative.

Before we run away with this, there's one v important question - WHICH Lilith?

There are 3.

Black Moon Lilith - symbol reversed (moon) crescent above a cross
Dark Moon Lilith - symbol circle with diagonal line through it
Asteroid Lilith - symbol horizontal line with four vertical lines rising from it

So which one is in aspect to your Venus?

Look for pieces by M Kelley Hunter (Mountain Astrologer article) and Sue Simmons - both have written about the different Liliths.
