Mars-Neptune aspects: pornstars or sex addicts?

Thank you everybody for the wonderful shares. I read that Mars-Neptune is a love of the sea. It's also Sex(Mars) addiction (Neptune). It's passive-aggression, sadism-masochism, Assertion-Pacifism, reality vs Ideals. It is a highly romantic (Sex-Idealism) aspect & there is glamorization of people. There's also a tendency to fall into Savior-Victim relationships & chase the unavailable. It is prominent in the charts of romance novelists & sportsmen who can channel the assertion into something creative.

Poyi that was insightful, you got me thinking on some points.

I do like to conquer the ideal/impossible. Venus/Neptune, ideal love and Mar/Neptune fighter for the underdogs

The inharmonious aspect of Mars/Neptune

Perhaps it is the Neptune on the Ascendant... squaring moon at the Ic.

It is very useful in writing music for film.. but human relationships suffer. I tend to draw in the suffering souls. I also can effortlessly step in and out of the spirit worlds and have been known to help the just passed spirits transition.

Natally my Mars trined Neptune, but progressed now, it is square. In college, let's just say my role models were Jim Morrison, Jimi Hendrix and Bob Marley. But now My Mars is in Virgo, and im a total straight edge and square. Neptune really does rule trips out to the sea from which many dont come back. (Ironically Morrison was found in a bathtub, Hendrix purportedly "drowned" in his own vomit.). My Neptune conjuncts Morrison's sun. I think that may have even been my past life!

Cant say Im a sex addict, but Im addicted to the glamour and mystique of women. I kind of idealize them and dont want to get too close as it will ruin the mystique a bit. also mars in virgo, as someone said above, really tends to focus on the negatives of the human body, the fluids, the odors, the germs and potential diseases, etc. Neptune doesnt care, and wants to merge with your soul (and of course with the help of alcohol, it's even easier not to care).

Neptune rules film as well, and that whole dreamlike quality of films, so maybe a square to neptune may show a **** addict. But with Mars in Virgo, even if it's sq Neptune, I think it's highly unlikely they would sleep around. Again, Virgo is just too "clean" to be trading bodily fluids with every and anybody. Its opposite would be Pisces, which after a few drinks can get pretty wild.

The pornstar though is Mars in Leo, fire planet in a fire sign=red hot. Mars rules sex, and the physical body, and Leo is all about putting on a performance. The world is a stage for leo, and that includes the bedroom! I would say in my younger, wilder days, I was more about the thrill of the chase, and wanting a lot of conquests, but not necessarily an addiction. My Saturn in Leo helped put that in check. All in all, I would say Mars Neptune trine would make opportunities widely available, and it would be a fun-seeking, romantic fantasy type thing. The square can bring issues though, either celibacy which,if taken too far can end up being perverted(see Catholic priests), or out of control sexual behavior fueled by drugs and alcohol, which will somehow be checked by Saturn one way or another. Either thru bad reputation, legal or health issues, or worse (see Whitney Houston and most of Hollywood)

Despite the bad effect this aspects brings. I think it has potential for great artistic creativity if native developed self discipline he can pour those talents. writing poetry and drawing painting can help to release the tension that mars Neptune brings and help with the martians impulses. This is also a great indicator of dancer most of dancer has this aspects

Aspects of conflict act in the same manner, it's only how strong your planets r in their signs. For eg a Leo-Scorpio square would make one highly sexual.

the most asexual being i know has mars in aries retrograde square neptune in sag (mars also makes square with chiron in 8th house in cancer, opp with sun in 11h in virgo, and sexitiles to jupiter in 7h ih gemini and moon in 3h in aquarius).

I have this aspect in the 1st house, i also have mars trine pluto so i dont know if that increases the power of this aspect beacause its in the same house.
