Neptune rules impressionism, illusion, and imagination. Toys leave quite an impression on young minds.
Toys can produce the image of a generation.
I know for me I came from Neptune in Capricorn. I call myself a 90s kid. I remember quality television for kids, lots of dolls like Barbie, American Girl. Both were considered "role models" like Capricorn. American Girl was conservative, and Barbie took a more conservative approach to things as well. She became a doll with careers: Doctor Barbie, Teacher Barbie, etc. American Girl was a line of dolls that portrayed "realistic" girls that linked the present with the past (Capricorn ruling Father time). We learned from our elders' wisdom through the stories that could educate and help girls going through similar things in the future. In fact American Girl came out specifically around the time when Neptune entered Capricorn (1986)!
I also remember Bratz.
But didn't that come out when Neptune entered Aquarius? Why does my generation consider Bratz a part of their generation, when Neptune entered Aquarius?
Anyway, does anyone think that Neptune reflects their childhood and the impression certain toys made on them or reflected their generation? I'm wondering what we can see in the toys of this time what will influence the children of tomorrow...
Monster High was around when Neptune entered Pisces. lol The underdog mentality will spur on a generation of compassionate souls who try not to judge others as they play with these dolls.
