Writing, Politics, Or Event Planning: Which Career Will Be Most Successful For Me?

I'm having a midlife crisis right now. I'm currently involved in both writing and politics, in some aspect. I've also considered starting an event planning firm (I was once an event planner). Since I'm good at all three of these arenas (or so I've been told), I'm trying to decide which one will be the most lucrative and most positive avenue for my talents. Does my natal chart show that writing, event planning, or politics makes the most sense for me to devote my energies to in the long run?

Below is my natal chart. My Midheaven looks well-aspected. My Sun is in the 10th house (the career house) and looks well-aspected as well. My Sun Sextile Moon apparently means that I could be good in politics or business, but my Moon Sextile Mercury apparently means that I could be good in journalism and writing.

My chart apparently shows that (1) I would experience indecision about my career choices (bingo!) and (2) success would come later in life for me. However, in which arena am I likeliest to have an impact? Any interpretations that shed light on my dilemma are most welcome. Thanks so much!

As someone who has Mercury conjunct Sun conjunct the MC, and who has always worked as a writer, editor and researcher, I know that the placement of those planets in the 10th house is largely responsible for my skills and successes. While it may be true that the Moon in the 8th house is a good placement for politics, I think your Sun and Jupiter in the 10th are better indicators. A Leo Moon needs to be loved for its dramatic self-expression. You can fulfill this need through writing well. In politics, it's possible, but your Moon may have a hard time when you're not as loved as you want to be--no politician ever is!

Event planning could be good, too, if we think of it as a 5th house-related career. Your 5th is in Taurus, which loves this kind of creativity.

However, given the position of your Sun, conjunct the MC, I think you may feel more fulfilled with writing and communication.
