Transiting Jupiter conj. Transiting S. Node.
This became of interest to me the other day as to a post in the 'Hot Topic' sub forum.
I'm copying and pasting post # 239 here from, the thread titled, "Our Internet Freedom Threatened By...".
Then I can expand upon it as will follow...
...as posted...[My reply to post #238 by JUPITERASC...with quote by that member that I responded to.]

[the following is my response]
Cool... I really needed to hear some news on the entire matter that would return some amount of faith in Humankind.
As Jupiter was conjunct the South Node for a few days in the 5th degree of Gemini, which happens to be the position of my natal Mars [and is also the Asc. of my clairvoyant friend, Clarisse, of which I mention as it may interest at least a few of whom among many of you members that have certainly read my posts mentioning Her name many times...and some will say too many times, I'm sure...]
...the 5th degree of Gemini being source and bestower of a precept symbolically represented by the Sabian Symbol given to it and defined by Dane Rudhyar as [from the book, "An Astrological Mandala' by Rudhyar.]:
"A REVOLUTIONARY MAGAZINE ASKING FOR ACTION.
KEYNOTE: The explosive tendency of repressed feelings and root emotions.
Every movement overstressing one direction calls forth in time an equally extreme movement in the opposite direction. This is particularly true at the level of the dualistic mind symbolized in the zodiac by Gemini. What is rigidly bound in form and convention tends to explode into formlessness. It may do so violently if socially oppressed — through revolution — ...
[at this point of the to procession trough the 360 degrees of the Zodiac having been begun either at Aries 01*, in ''Traditional" procession or Virgo 30* in a reverse or 'Evolutionary" direction] ...it is the experience of a world of being so far unperceived by the everyday consciousness which starts the process.... ... [having come to a conclusion to or to...]... ...make the mind transparent to a non-ego-structured realm of consciousness, and may lead to a sustained attempt at understanding what has been revealed of a transcendent Reality. Whether the revolutionary action is violent or peaceful, bitterly resentful or loving, the one desire is TO REACH BEYOND ESTABLISHED FORMS."
Interesting what Dane had to say about Gemini representing the "Dualistic Mind"... as a computer is in a sense, your dual mind..or it has so become somewhat of one for many.
As Clarisse had asked me to give her a brief synopsis of what the assessment of Her current Astrological situation was a few days ago, I found that the only Astrology books on natal aspects and transits [at least all of those of the many books that I have on Astrology and that which also mention Ascendant/Node conjunctions do, anyways.] gave nothing but a entirely malefic assessment for the South Node conjuncting a natal Mars or Asc. ...so I had told Clarisse that I wasn't going to subscribe to that opinion as there has to be equally as much potential for the "benefic", and that the way I saw it..."Jupiter would give growth from, and expand access and distribution to and from, things of 'the past' [as the South Node represents the collective karmic past of Humankind.]
'Those "Established Forms" could be such concepts as just those the proponents of ACTA were citing as reason for the cause...such as copyrights and censorship.
The combination was perfect for the timing of this referendum with this objective [of defeating ACTA] as the goal, apparently.

Re: Transiting Jupiter conj. Transiting S. Node.
As I realized I've never seen any published material on transiting Planets or Luminaries in aspect to transiting Moon Modes this became increasingly intriguing.
Over the last 9 1/2 years I've known Clarisse, I've found that She and I have many 'connections' via our natal charts... and thus I took a look at the last time Jupiter conjuncted the S.Node and the next time it will...
What I found has really bowled me over... it's going to get interesting in a few years...REALLY INTERESTING...IMHO.....
...rather than re-write this...as I'm really tired this week...I'm going to post excerpts of what i wrote Clarisse in a series of messages on Facebook that are pertinent to this thread...please bear with me as I am increasingly becoming more sloppy in writing lately... not due to indifference so much as just being of poor writing skills to begin with and being so worn out on top of that...
[if you need clarification...just ask and let me know...I'll do what I can....thanks for your understanding. ptv]
...as sent to Clarisse...

Well...here it is about 5 in the morning...and I had planned on settling in about 11 last night and falling asleep with a movie... [I don't know where the time goes...fast ~ is all I know about it] As a member at the forum posted about the ACTA issue being defeated in Europe by the EU ...and given the interpretation of the Jupiter- South Node conjunction that occurred on the 5th degree of Gemini [Your. Asc. and my natal Mars] that I stated to you about the aspect taking what needs to be from the collective past and giving it expansion and growth into the present and beyond, that I made. ...coupled with the fact that what handbooks I do have that offer any interpretation of this sort of aspect only make a couple of brief comments only as to malefic influences and nothing of anything benefic...all gave cause for me noodling with an idea and possibly ...most very likely...I've hit upon yet another technique of interpretation that is in step with all the others I've developed concerning the Nodes [and a couple of which I'm now convinced of...and the others still gaining evidence in support] Jupiter conjuncts the same Node [either of the two Nodes] about every 7 1/2 years. I'm looking ahead to Jan, 2020 and see that then one at that time between Jupiter and the S.Node is occurring on a date I had already color highlighted some time ago as for Saturn and Pluto being conj. on my Part of Faith in the 22nd of Capricorn and my Hermetic Part of Eros in the 23rd [more the Eros than the Faith as it will be in the same degree and Sabian Symbol ...] As I have yet to do a chart online for the reason I use the True Node and my ephemeris book gives 'Apparent Node' I can't say whether it is the exact same day but can't be more than a couple/few days before it. [The Nodes proceed in the other direction through the Zodiacal degrees than do the Planets ...and the True Node is always a greater [Higher] degree that the "Apparent Mode"...
Anyways I looked back 7 1/2 years and found [as I had started to suspect] that the last conjunction of Jupiter and the South node occurred in August 2005 [less than 7 years ago as it almost occurred earlier in the year but Jupiter went retrograde right prior to the possibility coming to with in about 6 to 8 degrees before doing so.] That occurred on what appears to be the 16th - 18th degrees of Libra...possibly perfectly conj. with my Part of Love ...which is 16* Libra 02' or apprx. 15* Libra 50' if I go with the recent chart rectification I'm considering ...which is using a birth time of 45 seconds to a minute earlier than is on the certificate. Your natal Neptune is at 15* Libra 10'....
Jupiter and the S.Node will conjunct at around the 9th or 10th degree of Capricorn in Jan, 2020...and your natal Venus is 10* Capricorn 32' ...your natal Jupiter at 15* Capricorn 10' I have what is known as the Part of Daughters at 08* Capricorn 13' [subtract about 12' if rectified]...and which seems to be popping up a lot lately ...the 9th degree of Cap. that is......Yikes! it's nearly 6 AM and thus... I'll pick this study up later...I let you know what degrees of Libra and Capricorn the charts say the past conj. and the future one did actually occur on and will...I'll get back to you on that before tonight...maybe even in a bit...seeing as how I might stay up a while longer.

Re: Transiting Jupiter conj. Transiting S. Node.
...more of the message to Clarisse....
________________________________________________
I should mention that this theory of mine involves the idea that whatever conjuncts either Node carries the influence symbolized by the Sabian of the degree of conjuncture with it until the next conjuncture. Meaning that for the next 7 1/2 years we might expect Jupiter to bestow influences and energy of growth and expansion of which a needs such a call of 'Activism' or it could even mean giving growth and expansion to a 'Revolutionary' movement ...a call for the need of some sort of revolution the reason for which can be pointed to as being a cause or product of the collective past.
I'll have to find a number of these conjunctions in the past, determine the Sabian symbols and then walk through History to see if this theory does hold water... I have a hunch ...it does...

oh...and that Saturn Pluto conjunction in Jan. 2020...Mercury and the Sun will be in the 23rd of Capricorn too...btw, that's Lynda Hill's Asc. ....!?!?!?!

[...and followed by...{and maybe you all will see WHY I'm so tired today...}]
______________________________________________
Okay, it's now 9am and I'm still not asleep...as I had to study a bit what I had found...and man the astrology just never ceases ...[fill in the blank]...There's that Jupiter Venus inferior conj. in 2014 that'll be at 21* Cap. 01' [there was on 23* Cap 40' in Jan 2006] a superior conj. in 2010 at 19* Cap. 19' and there'll be another superior conj. in Jan 2018 at 18* Cap 45'] Now as to the Jupiter S. Node conj. in Jan. 2020 it is in the 9th Cap. ":
Capricorn 9*

[and the chart I attached]
note. I include the asteroids Eris and Parsival not for any other reason than for amusement...but looky where Parsival lands in this mix!

[followed by this message to Clarisse]

Notice the cluster all over the sign of Capricorn...all over those Parts of Faith and Eros that I have...and notice that asteroid 'Parsival'...I knew that was going to somehow get into the picture....Now as to the Neptune conj. the 19th of Pisces... look at this chart for July 2019... Neptune will go retrograde on June 21st at 18* Pisces 41' but on July 4th, 2019 [Yeah, JULY 4TH.... go figure!] Neptune will have hardly budged yet and Saturn is conj. the S. Node!.....OH BOY ... Wow...
SOMETHING IS GOING ON..... but I'm too tired to think anymore today... so, stay tuned...

...one last thing today...as Saturn gives form and rigidity ...and deals out karma... the 18th of Capricorn where it will conj. the South Node in July 2019 is :
CAPRICORN 18°: [ibid.] "THE UNION JACK FLAG FLIES FROM A BRITISH WARSHIP.
KEYNOTE: The protection afforded to individuals and groups by powerful institutions in charge of maintaining order."
...yeah...curious business... given the present state of the political scene.
I figure that it will reveal itself to you...that is, if it hasn't already...

Re: Transiting Jupiter conj. Transiting S. Node.
It's the Saturn and S. Node conj. at the time Neptune is transiting forward, retrograde and then forward in a 'Final Return' over/conj. the 19th of Pisces...which is the Part of Fortune for the chart I claim is the correct and true chart of Jesus/Yeshua [as close as the astrodienst computer ephemeris is accurate.] and also my Part of [spiritual] Inheritance & Legacy... that has me so intrigued...!

Re: Transiting Jupiter conj. Transiting S. Node.
I do want to clarify.
This does not mean that I propose any one religion or true spiritual belief over another...as teachings from a true spiritual master transcend all...and all are of a source of the ONE. All such true teachings are ONE.
...IMHO...of course....
