Career help please!

Hi, I'm new here (:
Since I'm also newbie to astrology and I have to decide what to study in few months, could someone show me which career best suits me please?
I can't decide between psychology, law, journalism and social work, but any other ideas would be appreciated.

I'm new to astrology myself, but I'll throw some things out there.

You have no planets in fire signs, which could make it harder to set a course, or in your case, determine a career.

The 10th and 6th house usually pertain to careers, and you have a strong aspected Saturn in Pisces in the 6th. That could indicate a sensitive, intuitive nature that can best be put to use by helping others, a good trait for a psychologist.

In the 10th house we have the Moon and Mars. Moon in Cancer once again indicates a sensitive, intuitive, nurturing nature. You also have an afflicted Mars in Cancer, which could indicate a real withdrawn, quiet nature, something that would be more of an obstacle as a psychologist.

You also have a stellium in Scorpio, with Venus and Jupiter almost completely lined up, and the north node very close by. Considering the house is in Libra but the planets are all in Scorpio, not to mention the placement of the North node, it seems that physical security is a priority, and sharing and opening up may be a weak spot.

Overall, psychology looks like a good choice.

Generally for a career indicator I would look at the planet ruling the sign on the cusp of the 10th house. While this should be Mercury (Gemini), if your birth time is off by even a couple of minutes, it could be the moon (Cancer.)

Assuming your birth time is correct, Mercury leads off a big stellium in your second house in Scorpio. It suggests to me something of Scorpio's "detective" qualities; wanting to get under the surface and discover what's behind it.

The second house is is the "money" house. So you might think about economics or finance. I know it isn't on your "A" list, but if you haven't studied it yet, you might be surprised at how interesting you find it. Also, you have a strong 10th house, with the moon up there in its own sign. So don't box yourself into a career with no opportunity for advancement.

Perhaps one of the Senior Members can confirm, but I think that is a Grand Trine (in the water element) between the 2nd House Mercury, 6th House Saturn, and 10th House Moon. That suggests that you're highly intuitive using your feelings. That would lend itself well, in various ways, to psychology, law, journalism, or social work. What I first noticed about your chart was your stellium in the 2nd house (the money house), which is mostly positively aspected in your chart. Part of your stellium includes Pluto, which rests in its ruling sign Scorpio. It seems like whatever you do in the future, you'll probably make nice money doing it. Social workers aren't known for making nice money, but the other occupations that you're researching certainly have potential in that area.

Your Saturn is in the 6th House (work ethic & health house), and is strongly aspected (e.g., to the moon in the 10th house, the career house). It looks as though you'll be a workaholic in your chosen profession, so make sure you craft some Me time for yourself for balance.
