Read through this thread, and was surprised at how many people were bent on Aqua rising; her image changes constantly, so a mutable sign would have made more sense, and she probably would've been booted from that Catholic school (esp. if Mars had been in 1) if she had Aqua asc.!

And I saw Scorpio waaaay too many times also. LG /= mysterious, in fact, quite the opposite lulz. TBH, my first guess was Sag or Aries rising, putting Mars or the Sun in her 1st. Gem is no surprise, though...

I just discovered that Astrotheme changed Lady Gaga's ascendant from Sagittarius to Gemini, which makes more sense since she would have Jupiter domiciliated in Pisces in the Tenth house conjuncting Mercury, being her ascendant ruler showing us that she was born to be a star and to succeed and leave a mark on the world

The Sun exalted in the 11th house could explain her big incomes from her work and fame ..

Her Asc is in late Gemini 27 degree, a term that in classical astrology Saturn rules, and in that point Saturn also has Diurnal Triplicity so Saturn would be also the 2nd ruler of the ascendant because it has 5 points just as Mercury also has.. Any more info on the source of the birthtime? IMO I see kind of a strong airiness in Gaga. Back when her career was just getting started she seemed to LOVE to talk in her one-on-one interviews, before she got burnt out on interviews millions of them later.

That is so subjective. There are plenty of photos of her looking extremely feminine. Perhaps its the makeup then. I dont think she is at all unattractive. Pray, what is this illumanti experiment supposed to be? On second thoughts, dont answer that lol.

Feminine sun/asc =/= feminine looking in appearance

We are free to interpret, but to say because someone isn't feminine in their looks that they can't have feminine signs as their sun/asc. Marilyn Monroe has a masculine sun and asc, is she not feminine? So does Madonna, Britney Spears, Bridgette Bardot, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Aniston, Shakira, Scarlett Johansson etc. are they not feminine either?

I guess its impossible to say these things without being at risk of generalizing - at least slightly. I am not including myself in this 'debate' because i do not confer that ascendant sign descriptions are 100% accurate. I agree some basic traits may exist - yet the inference that earth/water ascendants are nonathletic, pudgy and short for instance - being a feminine ascendant myself I am tall, slim, athletic - and i am certain others will come and contradict the descriptions given for their asc sign in the exact same way i just did. I do have any 'conjuctions' that affect the appearance either as far as i am aware so i have an issue with the accuracy.

As for Gaga herself - i think people may finally lay it all to rest on these forums with the debate of her ascendant sign, since it has been officially confirmed!! Savanna - i hear what you are saying in regards to other women being 'feminine' yet Christina Aguilera or Britney Spears - they are hardly feminine in the - as i mentioned earlier - truest sense of the world. I absolutely understand you and you are right.
Women that have an emphasis of masculine energy in their charts look more athletic,strong,slim,tall,manly- they have distinctive,dynamic facial features.
In contrary women wirth an emphasis of feminine energy in thier charts look more soft,curvaceous,feminine,smaller - they have small childlike,feminine features.
The same goes for men.

Lady Gaga is definitely more the strong,athletic type.
That's why many people don't consider her as beautiful though she is.
She has just a another way of beauty which is more tough and androgynous.

Now there are two problems:
1)Noone is either the first or the second archetype.People are mixtures like their charts show.
2)Many celebrities (especially women) use heavy make-up and cosmetic surgery.
I was interested in that topic some time ago and yes,before the surgery the Fire/Air-women looked more like the masculine woman-archetype.

Sadly instead of shining as they truly are many "masculine women" dye their hair mostly blonde to look cuter,use breast implants and surgery on their facial features to look more feminine.
I think they do that because they assume that you just can succeed with looking Barbie-like-feminine (the natural looking of the Water/Earth-women) which is completely wrong.
Everyone has its own natural beauty.

You have made some excellent points there and i like how you have segregated each of them to make it easier for people to follow your point.

Lady Gaga is as you mentioned the stronger/athletic type - what we are trying to say is - you must truly consider the natural femininity of the women minus plastic surgery/outrageous outfits/endless cosmetics when accessing this sort of issue. You can also access yourself - if we are to follow the theory of using the two dominant elements in the chart.

If for instance you are a blend of feminine and masculine (like myself) e.g. fire and water dominant you would most likely have a mixture of masculinity/femininity. For instance my own 'face' is 'water' dominant so the features lack masculinity yet the physical body has some influence from the fire element in producing the typical athletic influence but water or earth also confers the women to have 'padding' in the feminine areas of the body-so it produces a mixture.

If you are purely a feminine type - you would most likely be shorter/very curvaceous. Yet then there's the influence of Genetics - but i am generalizing here. I love Britney and Christina yet they both carry that dynamic 'out there' quality in both their demeanor and appearance that makes me conclude they have much masculine influence..
