What exactly is a Pisces descendant?

I have researched everywhere on information concerning the Descendant in general, but to no avail. My rising sign is Virgo, my Venus sign is Taurus, and my Mars sign is Virgo. What does this say about me in terms of romance? What is the Pisces descendant?

Hi Dramatix!

What the Descendant means is it is your 7th house and it is always so. For example: My Rising is Scorpio which is my first house ok? The opposite house of the first is the 7th and for me its Taurus. The first describes me and the 7th describes who my ideal partner should be as the 7th house is the house of partnerships/marriage.

I hope I helped. Good luck!

The Ascendant and the Descendant are directly opposite each other, so they have identical degrees but in opposing signs.

Traditionally, Jupiter is the domicile ruler of Pisces therefore fwiw IMO the house location as well as as the sign of your natal Jupiter AS WELL AS any aspects that involve your natal Jupiter with other planets of your natal chart are important when delineating 7th house matters.

Re: What exactly is a Pisces descendant?

With Pisces on the DC (7th house cusp) you have Virgo rising. So most of what you read about Virgo on the ascendant should apply to you.

Pisces on the DC doesn't necessarily mean that you will seek out a spouse with the sun in Pisces or somesuch. Rather, that you value Piscean traits of sensitivity and acceptance in a mate. However, if any 7th house planets, Neptune (modern ruler,) or Jupiter (traditional ruler) are afflicted, you might get a negative effect. You might want Mr. Sensitive Guy (or Gal) but end up with a very disorganized person who dwells in a world of illusion or escapism-- possibly via too much alcohol or drugs.

A good book that deals with both your AC and DC as an axis is Jodie Forrest, The Ascendant.
