Indications of Neurosis?
First off, here is this person's chart;
http://www.astro.com/cgi/atxgen.cgi?...8v-u1339453738
Okay, so I was reading this website ( http://astrologynotes.org/wiki/Moon_in_the_fifth_house) about Moon in the fifth house. And it says that moon in the 5th house opposite Neptune in the 11th house could be an indication of neurosis.
This person has Cancer moon in the 5th house opposite Capricorn Neptune in the 11th house. Not only that, but they also have Sun in the 1st house square Neptune and Sun square Moon.
Would you look at this person's chart and see any real possibility of a mental / personality affliction?

Re: Indications of Neurosis?
I think this might be better fit for the personal reading section since you want everyone to look at their chart. Also, it would be easier for everyone if you linked the chart itself in to be looked at.
As for someone with neurotic tendancies, that could manifest in many ways. I generally a neurotic personality associated with the cardnial signs (aries, cancer, libra). Being neurotic often stems from a strong association with the self. Aries is all about "me first" and being number one. Cancer is in general highly neurotic because they are so intune with emotional flows. Libra can be very neurotic when put with a group of other people.
As per a 5th 11th opposition associated with the moon and neptune, I can see this. The reason for this is the moon being ruled by the emotions, being in the fifth house is going to put an emphasis on having these emotions and feelings shown to others, often to be validated. That in and of itself has an extremely strong potential to become neurotic. Having it opposed neptune in the 11th is going to make the individual have a very tough time being able to understand and see their own emotions. It can evolve into a "I feel something! I don't know what it is though? Can someone help me figure it out?". It can also result in the individual going to great lengths to try and pin it down, or possibly drown them out and have the flat out ignored. In the end it's going to put emotional validation, and the never ending search to finalize it, on the surface. Which, is a definition of neurotic.

If I made it sound like all of those who are of that sign are going to be neurotic, then I appologize as that is not what I was intending nor trying to get across. Additionally, I was not intending nor trying to make it be a put down to those signs, or those who have placements in those signs. I have seen a pattern that those who are neurotic often have a lot of placements in cardinal signs, but that's not iron clad. I can be rather neurotic myself, and I think a lot of it comes from my scorpio moon and libra rising.
There's multiple ways in which it could manifest (like anything in astrology), but this is a pattern I have observed.

ok, no problem
signed, secretly neurotic libra x
note slightly stressed and neurotic at times (for good reasons) does not equal neurosis, remember libras are the balance, we are always right, we suffer alot for humanity
eta i think sensitivity in the chart in any form can show this, what the heck does neurotic mean anyway?

It seems to me that before proceeding with the discussion, it would be useful to define terms. So, tautomer, would you want to indicate what you mean by neurotic so we can all be on the same page?

Re: Indications of Neurosis?
I can tell you that Pluto in aspect to certain planets (again, not generalizing, a lot depends on other factors) but especially in aspect to the sun (ego) or mars (relentless drive) can create neurotic personalities! I know some folks like this whom I love dearly, and I know their charts. But certainly this is only one small facet and one can't draw too much on a single aspect or planet/sign alone...

I was kind of thinking the same thing since Ive always heard the term "garden variety neurotic". Its my understanding that all of us are neurotic to a certain extent.
Thanks
