Nodes & Vertex = Karma & Fate in relationships??

Wanted to open a discussion on this.

Currently crushing on someone who's Vertex conjuncts my Ascendant and is also exactly opposite my Venus. (Not a degree to spare there). Their true node conjuncts my ascendant, and my true node conjuncts to their Neptune and trines their Moon.

In the past, I have fallen for someone who's Sun conjuncts my Vertex.

But...I'm not just asking about me here (Only an Aries like myself could say that with a straight face )

Overall, do you find Nodes and Vertex are huge significant points in Karma and Fate ("soulmate") relationships??

I have seen Vertex discarded as not that important and a "be careful what you wish for" thing in relationships. On the opposite side of the coin, have read that people with strong Vertex ties are the ones who take a long to time to realize there is something there, and it comes on like an epiphany.

So..what do you think?? Are these huge indicators of karma and fate with the people in our lives??

Luminary conjunctions to the node are considered to be Fated
also a lot of aspects involving outerplanets. Cross Aspects between the charts indicates that there is a theme going on in the relationship, Planets falling in the water houses 4th,8th,12th, Bring a feeling of fatefulness. About the vertex I do personally feel that if you have strong aspects going on in synastry, if somehow the promise is triggered by transit it can feel like epiphany or nightmare depending on what planet hits your vertex if you have Saturn or Pluto hitting your natal chart by transit or natally you must be aware that @ somepoint in your life you will be challenged with a situation that will change you in a very strong way, Saturn in very close aspect to the vertex will always bring a lesson, but sometimes this lessons are painful ones. I think also Saturn hitting the Vertex in the Composite chart can bring the same sense of bitterness.

The vertex conjunct ascendant or descendant is highly karmic but it can be either good or bad, either way you won't soon forget this person. There are valuable lessons to be learned here for personal and spiritual growth. When a planet is involved by aspect, the nature of the karma will fall in its domain. For example since in your case it is Venus, you two could have been lovers in many past lifetimes but there was unfinished business so you are here again. I am extremely confident in that interpretation because the south node is also conjunct the descendant. South node is past life associations and the descendant is intimate and one on one relationships, especially romantic ones.
