Venus Transit 2012 square 1966 Pluto-Uranus conjunction

My observation:
The Venus Transit over the Sun today and tomorrow -5th and 6th of June 2012- is happening at 15°45 Gemini very closely squaring the Pluto-Uranus conjunction which happened on July 1st 1966 at 16°7 Virgo- this was the last of 3 conjunctions in 1965/66 which all occured around 16° and 17° Virgo.

I feel this to be quite relevant since on 24th of June this year we're reaching the first of 7 squares of Pluto and Uranus, which will be happening during the next 4 years. These squares are the next stage in the Pluto-Uranus cycle since the conjunction in 1966.
The 60's were a time of social revolution and changes, also a great spiritual opening happening at the same time, the square combined with this Venus Transit could bring those changes initiated then to the next level..

Personally I'm also interested in this Transit- I was born in 1966, with Uranus and Pluto in close conjunction to each other (15°40 and 15°57 Virgo), and this Venus Transit very closely squares the Pl/Ur conjunction in my natal chart.
I'm not sure yet what this will mean in my life, I feel some new patterns of relating slowly emerging (Pl/Ur in my 7th house), I seem to be having a lot of insights into my own relationships at present and also into those of people close to me. It will be fascinating to see what will develop from this!

It'd be great to hear from others who were also born in 1965/66 and how this Venus Transit and the current Pluto-Uranus square is affecting you, your life and the Pl/Ur conjunction in your chart?
Also anyone who can offer any insights or understanding into what this could mean for us as a generation and also on a world level- relating to the changes with are now happening everywhere?

you also have the mars in virgo transit in virgo! oh the fun! conj that natal pluto/uranus. did you experience anything when it rx back? I found a lot of people took time out like they were resting(but thinking a lot)

there is another thread which gives questions to ask with just the venus transit but then you would add this square.

mars is supposed to act like a trigger.

I think I escaped this (the orb is too wide)I was born early 67 (pluto 20/uranus 23 virgo.)Im having more than a few problems with a saturn transit though.

Yes, the Mars transit over my Pluto/Uranus - it's been so intense!! Also had some time out.. during the first transit, people misunderstood me a lot and got angry at me for reasons I could't understand, it was quite difficult, I had to be soo careful! Then I went into a very quiet phase, must have been around when Mars was rx, I hadn't connected this, thanks for pointing it out!! Now the 3rd and last transit is just over - thank God!! , am still trying to put it all together ..

well it goes like this: pluto in 10th is happy with my scorpio rising. many bosses (who have supported me at work) have been scorpio. from what they initially see I fit into the corporate world.Im highly organised, I know the ruthless person is in there.I even used to have the corporate suits. but oh dear they do not bargain with the uranus(and I cant keep it down) - championing the underdog (Im an aqua sun) so yes I just cant do it - bit like sellling my soul to the devil!!!

I found my feet around the time of my saturn return - worked in government - for a cause. as long as I have a purpose and Im bringing in new ideas. Im ok.

but when uranus transited my aqua sun - a new me was born!

it is more the saturn conj chiron(which you have too and which is also square venus transit and opposite mars now) which has been lost - its the tail end of a the kite. this is something im trying to work with - in the 5th trying to find my creative outlet and it is this that gives me the most happiness.

mars transit to this of jan '12 bought me some work but this ended at the end of the rx period.(I went back to a contract)

yes watch out with mars - keep a low profile as it goes over!!!I think be grateful you dont have the mars conj pluto natally. where is your mars natally btw?

all this gemini/sagi activity is across my 2nd/8th house. which is interesting. it could trigger a change in how I earn/see myself. 8th house is a bit of a mystery to me. fingers crossed for a lottery win.

Yes, i too have the Saturn/Chiron conjunction, but it's at 25°/26° Pisces, so aspect by sign only from the Venus transit. It feels a bit of a difficult part of my chart, in my 1st house conjunct Venus (also in Pisces at 28°) only loosely opp Pl/Ur .. but that's another story..

Natal Mars con Sun in Taurus trine Pluto/Uranus..oh,oh..at least it's a trine!! and I got all the Pisces stuff to balance my strong-headedness..

Gemini/Sag falls into my 4th/10th house, lots of issues around home, parents and my place in this world at the moment - I moved in January and am kind of looking for a new start..

so the venus transit is particularly affecting you. Also is saturn transit in the 8th H? apparently quite an important transit (if this is the case) and not all bad.

So where is capricorn - 10th H?I wonder what prompted you to move? do you think with jupiter transit to 4th you might move again?(oh yeah not forgetting pluto incapricorn)

for me I think the overriding transit is saturn in libra in 12th. When it turns direct back over my natal mars. It is like having a steamroller going over you. flattening you out and reshaping you!!!I feel a bit like Im 'checkmate'(on a chess board) - cant seem to move/change anything at the moment. just got to keep plodding on!

Yes, Saturn transiting 8th house, tell me- what's good about it? It's just passed over my moon, sade sati -7 1/2 years of trouble according to the vedic-, but this will start to ease off and move away with Saturn going direct end of this month.

10th house Sag, Capricorn 11th (have started using equal house, seems to work better with my chart, with Placidus the houses are just too uneven and it doesn't make sense) - Pluto's still a the very end of my 10th.

What prompted me to move?- basically things falling apart in the last place, due to influences out of my hands, it felt finished there and time to move on. Astrologically, progressed Moon had just gone into my natal 4th house.
Now the Venus transit in my 4th is making me rethink my decision, i pray it'll all work out and shift to a higher level!! Also been thinking i may move again, it's a possibility.. Jupiter going into my 4th in August, hopefully that will sort it all out!!

So you got Saturn transiting Mars in the 12th, no wonder you can't move. Wolfgang Döbereiner, a german astrologer, says Mars-Neptune connections can cause "territorial paralysis"- means you can't move and nothing seems to work! Mars in 12th is your Mars-Neptune connection, anyway difficult to focus your energy and Saturn transit just about kills it off! Hope that's over soon for you and you come out all "restructured"!

No thankfully. However it is nearly conjunct my asc. Not sure if that is worse.(it probably is) The pull to be an independent control freak is quite strong(for me) and I do it so well.
It wasnt until venus progressed to taurus that I really thought anything of my NN.

I was being kind - re 8th house - an opportunity to transform.From your description of current transits it sounds like another move could be on the cards.

Well as actors say 'im resting' which seems like what saturn is ordering in. I was looking back a lot at one point but now beginning to plan what comes next ie when saturn moves on.

the venus rx is also making me review things too.Also need mars to move on a bit(again) before I can see any new progress.

Yes,we'll just have to wait for the planets to move on a bit, for clarity to emerge and things to change again.. am waiting on mars to get away from my Pl/Ur and that Saturn to leave my moon alone.. take care, Bina
