Will we reconcile?

Dear community,

I have asked this question before (almost 3 months ago), but lately I have received mixed signals from my ex boyfriend and I felt the need to ask again.

We are separated since January, but kept some contact during this time. For the last month I was almost sure that we should not get back together, even though I still have strong feelings for him, and he also agreed that we should keep being just friends.
Last week he sent me a message reveling that he still loves me...so I am a bit confused, and don't know if we will get back together, and if he is being serious in that statement.

Can anyone please help me to interpret this horary chart for my question: Will we reconcile?
Is it also possible to see what he feels for me?

I think there is a good chance for you to get back together, but not immediately. Has he overcome his issues with alcohol?

The chart indicates a coming together - both of your rulers conjunct, however Sun is still very close and his ruler Jupiter is still combust, so currently he is stressed by some issues, oversome by things in his life. Mercury and Moon are also gettng close to the Sun, so it seems if you try to develop this before time is ripe, you will get burnt. He is not ready yet and very much blinded, he cannot see and his mind is clouded. Sun also rules the 12th, the hidden, the fears...So he seems to have some fears that he is trying to overcome. Good thing is Sun will soon move into the next sign and Jupiter will become much more clearer, both of you actually.

The other thing is even though Moon rules the querent, or is secondary ruler, it is also the event ruler and will translate the light from malefic Mars in the 12th to Mercury (you). Moon rules 11th, so I think there is some interference from a friend, who in a good-natured way might try to convince you that getting back with him is not a good idea. I think it may be 4-5 months before you get back together, it could be weeks, but it is most likely months before things are 'ready'.

All you wrote just makes a lot of sense. He has not overcome the alcohol problem. Currently he is living in his own apartment and continuing to drink regularly.
I think that he feels divided by two options, either get recovery and stay with me, or continue with a bohemian/abusive lifestyle and give up on our relationship-which is the current situation.
When you mentioned that he is blinded, I see it as he does not want to recognize his addiction and that it is destroying his life, and being together with me just makes the problem too obvious for him to want to accept it. So he prefers to be apart.

Also interesting that you mentioned some advice from a friend, well actually all my close friends (even though they all like me ex very much) advise me to let him go and run my life without him, at least until he seeks help by himself. And besides those advices, I myself have listened to my inner voice and have determined that this is really a time for separation. I will even be leaving soon to live some months abroad, and I'm looking forward for that So maybe when I return, there might be some news regarding this man (as you predicted 4 or 5 months time, actually as Dr. Farr also told me on my first question regarding this issue).

What does this mean, deepening his feelings about me?
It may seem stupid to ask this, but somehow he has been manipulating me to believe that he does not love me anymore, like he is boycotting our relationship, and that is why I asked about his feelings for me.
Previously he told me many times that he never have felt such strong love for anyone else, and that I am the love of his life, and that he wants to have children with me...etc etc, so when you say that he has strong feelings for me, it makes sense if I think of the past, but currently he has shut all that, and does not show his emotions.

I really hope that he will get on with his life and get over his addiction...and then maybe we will manage our relationship. But now I will let go for a while and enjoy my time abroad, perhaps I will even meet someone new, with less problems.

Mercury is your ruler, the change of sign shows change in reception, Sun/Jupiter will be in sign ruled by Mercury - showing him to fall more deeply for you. (Frawley's reception rules).

Well its not positive to be translating from 12th house. Mars is the lesser malefic, Mars is also energy, passion, in 12th its isolated and cannot express. 12th is also fears, so all this energy coming towards poor Mercury can be a bit daunting. So you may have your own fears to overcome of things not working out if you do get back with him. Fears and doubts will be there to get through.

Well, I think it would be a separate question. But she could be Sun, as it had a past conjucntion with Jupiter, but Sun is moving away. She can also be Venus, which is currently RX. This chart does not indicate a strong presence of another person in his life...could just be 'company' that he is seeking, while he is sorting out his issues.

It is a good thing you're going on a trip, it will give you a re-freshed look on your situation. You will also enjoy your trip very much, there is mutual reception with Mercury and Venus (the 9th ruler)
