Re: Is my Sun conjunct my Ascendant?
Many of us would consider the Sun to be beyond orb of conjunction (many of us consider about 7 or 8 degrees the Sun's orb) with the ascending degree; others, following the Traditionalist outlook, would say they are not conjunct because they are in different signs (so, according to Traditionalist-and Hellenist-doctrines, they cannot be conjunct)
Because of the orb factor I would not consider the Sun to be conjunct the ascending degree in this chart.
HOWEVER, check the declination of the Sun against the declination of the ascending degree: regardless of sign, if they are within 1.5 degrees of each other (either both North or both South) then they are in Parallel of declination, which gives the the same effect as does a strong conjunction in longitude.
