There has been and still is quite a few challenging transits coming from Uranus and Pluto to your Sun/Venus and Saturn, Uranus and Neptune. Uranus and Saturn are just about the harshest planets to deal with, one rips the rug out from under you and the other throws it away forever. I lost my job in 2009 and subsequently everything I ever worked for. I had Uranus, Saturn and Pluto hitting all 4 of my angles and later, both my Sun and Moon. Just last week after 3 years of unemployment, I finally got and offer. I know how it feels to want to give up, but you can't. You can fall a part later but right now you have to keep plugging along and ignore all the rude and insensitive people in the world who don't give a rats behind about you. I understand to not be able to get a minimum wage job when I was used to making 6 figures. They don't want you because you are a risk to leave when something better comes along. Why invest the time in training when you will probably leave?
Transit wise, in May(mid) transiting Jupiter will move over your MC and into your 10th house. Soon after it will conjunct natal Mars. In addition, Transiting Uranus will Sextile natal Mars late May into June, May/June could be a time where you find something. Hang in there!

Thanks, Vista! That sounds terrible, especially since the more specialized you are (by six figs, I'm sure), the harder it is to find something befitting in even a good economy!
Yesterday I had an interview at the mall at the swimsuit boutique. The woman there was so overly clear about wanting a PT person who was OK with 4 hours one week, 30 the next (ugh). She told me point-blank during
my interview that she wanted more of a housewife who wouldn't really need the job; "just something to get out of the house".

Seriously? I would prefer if people like that were just honest instead of stacking the deck until they finally interview the person that fits their (narrow) vision of what's best for the company.
Thank you for your reply. I keep getting / hearing that May/June or 7 wks out from now will be a good time. I hope so!
