Dasha Sandhi...

Not sure if there was a thread on this topic, so i decided to start one since i think its quite an interesting and also important topic in vedic and that is the DASHA SANDHI..

I know what it is but what i am wanting to know is - the changes that you see in this, are they like permanent or just temporary... and what sort of changes can one expect?

i am in my last phase of mars mahadasha and starting Rahu dasha next month so i am allready in dasha sandhi period but i seee no change.... in any aspect of my life.... i should have starting seeing some changes in my life in the past 7 months but i havent... ALL I HAVE SEEN IS CONFUSION, DULLNESS, DEPRESSION, LONELINESS ---- this is not what rahu represents? especially in my chart...

can someone tell me - what sort of things should i expect / expected to have seen during my dasha sandhi of going from mars to rahu?

In my experiments I have found this period (ie, the dasa sandhi-the time period of change from one mahadasa to the next, and from one bhukti to the next) to be highly variable, despite various models in Vedic to attempt to calculate it (the effects within it); this is very much like the situation with the Solar Return (in Western and also as Varshphal in Vedic), ie, sometimes the flow of events begins 3 or more months before the SR date (sometimes right around the date); so, I consider trying to estimate the time and events/influences of the dasa sandhi, to be much more often futile, than not.
Perhaps some of our AW Vedic experts will have had other experiences regarding this question...

"Dasha Sandhi" is period, when one Mahadasa is ending and other one is starting (considered to be from six months plus minus to one year plus minus from the date Mahadasa is changing).

It is recommended to avoid marriage, job change, buying home, etc. The "Dasha Sandhi" is "likely" to trigger change, and one is always afraid/scared of -ve changes. Although +ve changes can happen.

If -ve changes happens, it usually people tend to blame marriage, job change, buying home, etc., whatever was done.

As an example someone got married and after six months he lost job. The loss of job is due to "Dasha Sandhi", but in typical Indian family system, people (family, relatives, friends) may blame marriage and the girl - it makes life difficult. It is again more related to cultural values. The places, where people change jobs every year, it may not matter.

As far as your "Dasha Sandhi" is concerned, the events are likely to be after the start of Rahu's Mahadasa.

Ohhhh.. no wonder why i havent seen any change in this last antardasha of mars... oh well, not long to go! Rahu comes in next month and man, i could do with some change!

MARS DASHA gave me nothing... infact took most of the things from me..... so glad its gonna be over next month!

Insufficient? umm.. what additional details are required for proper analysis?
And omg what??? am i going to get results after 18 years????

AQUARIUS is "Sirshodaya" ( rising with head) therefore it will give result in first part of Dasa and antardasa. So you can expect results with starting of Dasa but check the exact date of Dasa entry and what will be the transit position of Rahu at the time of entry.

It was a mistake to say AQUARIUS is "Prishthodaya" rising with back.

Degrees of the planets are the minimum thing. Mid heaven degree and constellation details are also very important.
