A doubt about the solar return location

Hello astrologers,

I've been following my solar returns since 3 years ago and I've noticed that the solar return calculated on where you are living by the moment (not by the birth place) haven't worked. I guess that it should be calculated on the birth place even living far away (which is my case).

Could you explain me about this ?
