So you're saying you never experienced such abilities ever?

My boyfriend also has a chart where I would suspect him to be psychic to some degree.... He has moon in Pisces and squaring neptune in sagittarius and squaring Sun in gemini. He hasn't experienced anything of that kind!!!

But I have this very often, and I also have neptune square moon. Also mercury conj. pluto, which I relate to my "psychic" experiences.

Ofcourse its not always this alone that "makes" you psychic. Other things like genetics, upbringing also is of influence. In my family my mum and grandmother had parts of what I've experienced. My grandmother had the precognitive dreams, my mum has alot of astral projection experiences. And I have them both and seems much more pronounced in me.

The water thing is just a general rule in astrology. But there are always exceptions.

But have you ever tried to train such abilities? Like with meditation? Nearly everyone can train oneself and experience some of them to a certain degree. Kind of "learnt" it at the Silva method course
Not one in my family with such abilities (would be weird to find out they did it secretly). Though I am not interested at all in "psychic" stuff or whatever, though it is intriguing. I mainly posted the 1st post, to clarify to anyone that not all "water houses/signs" indicate such abilities.

Though a lot of people generally believe so. Which is why I used myself as an example, since I think I have a good amount of "water signs" and "water filled houses" (including strong apsects between Moon, Mercury, Pluto and Neptune) to say these things.

I think the water houses and their planets have many other aspects apart from just the potential psychic side. Water houses are also emotional, creative, dreamy etc. You dont need to get all the traits from them, also depends on your level of development and in which direction you are going, interests and so on. The more you truly believe in these abilities the more you will see, like self-fulfilling prophecies of some kind.

Re: lucid dreaming ability indicators in natal chart?

I see that this post is no longer active but for what it's worth- I was lucid dreaming before I could even remember- perhaps even before I could talk. I suffered from insomnia and my anxiety attacks happened just before trying to go to sleep- I remember being so afraid I'd vomit regularly from fear of lost control and feeling like I would die if I slept.

I was a very stressed child- could lucid dreaming come from Sun/Mercury and the Moon being at odds?

Lucid dreaming has slowly gone away for me but I still have vivid dreams that seem more real than my waking motions- they rattle me to the core and affect my day.

I still fear sleep but not as much as I used to. Actually, strangely enough, after working the overnight shift for six months it became easier to forget the fear- is it because I slept during the day?

I've attached my chart- some key things

I've Moon in Pisces in the third house trine Pluto in Scorpio in the eleventh house/twelfth house.
I've a Mutable Grand Cross.
Sun/Mercury/Jupiter in Virgo oppose Moon in Pisces.
Jupiter rules the chart with Sun/Mercury/Jupiter in ninth, (Virgo).
Chiron in Leo in the eighth house.

Re: lucid dreaming ability indicators in natal chart?

Hi,

PiscesMoon262, in your natal chart, you have a few factors that could lend flashes of intutionary insight, and perhaps the ability to lucid dream. These are the sensitive Pisces Moon in the 3rd house, so it directly captures your mind - enhanced by its opposition to Mer; then both Nep and Ura are in a close sextile to that Moon. Ura can lend sudden intuitionary flashes, whereas Nep sensitises the Moon, taking it a step beyond the 'boundaries' that limit most of us. You may feel this ability again once Nep transits your Moon.

I do not take the slow-movers, like Plu, Ura, etc, to automatically be in the next house, so, if your birth time is correct, your Pluto for me would be in the 11th. Pluto-Moon generally shows deep-lying fears within oneself that need to be worked upon. With some transits, these maybe brought to the forefront and may become quite uncomfortable, since these are just the fears the native tries to run away from. So try and understand yourself, and spend time with yourself.

Best

Re: lucid dreaming ability indicators in natal chart?

I might say that inherent abilities to lucid dream are leftovers from another lifetime.
There are lots of techniques one can learn to become a lucid dreamer.
I had lots of them when I was younger. Later when I tried to train in those techniques I had many fewer. Go Figure!
The only thing for me that gave me more was when I was in long meditation retreat.
I'm sure all of those things can be reflected in a chart.

I've a Mutable Grand Cross.
From what I know, the Cross has to be made of planets which means in your chart there isn't one.

I have this sleep problem and I sleep better during the day (after the Sun rises). I also read that the fear of sleep is linked to the fear of death. Sleeping in the dark seems more scary than in the light. You could have some hard transits (I haven't looked at them). I started having trouble sleeping when Pluto reached the MC...

I also have the Moon in Pisces intercepted and a Mutable Grand Cross.

Re: lucid dreaming ability indicators in natal chart?

Personally I disagree- I take all points into account. In my experience it's just made sense.

You have moon in Pisces? How have you felt since Neptune has gone into the sign?

I didn't even feel it.
I felt Pluto on MC strongly and Saturn in Scorpio (giving up old things, inheritance problems, death of my grandmother). It's in the 7th but it's very strong with 8th house problems. (Maybe it has something to do with Pluto, being in mutual reception).
