insight into interview
Hi folks
I have a job interview coming up and was wondering if astrology can help me have some insight into the meeting.
In your experience, what type of chart is most useful in this type of situations? Should I be looking at transits for the day of the interview, progressions, or indeed is horary the best?
I did cast a horary, but was warned off last time on this forum about the dangers of interpreting ones own horary charts as a beginner, so am staying away from interpreting too much. My previous attempts have not been very helpful... atleast not my own interpretations.
I am simply curious about astrology can say about specific events like this, and of course any 'weather report' would be useful. Any advice?

Re: insight into interview
hi mayin,
if you have control over the timing of the interview, try to arrange it with the transiting moon in pisces.. it works well with your sun and ascendant and even if you get it in late pisces, it will line up with your venus favourably as well.. i think earlier pisces is slightly better though, as it lines up nicely with jupiter as well..
with the sun in capricorn, this isn't a bad time either but the moon to sun has less choices as we are already over halfway thru sun in cap..
it is a good question and the kind of thing that if you have control over the timing, you can work it out to have your chart line up more favourably to the transits taking place.. it is more complex then i am telling you, but this will give you some ideas to get started... what i would avoid is having the transits focus on the cluster of planets in libra for the most part.. sun in cap will do this to an extent as well, but is a trade off as the 7th is really a good time to relate to others and connect more out in the world.. jupiter in taurus transit is working in your favour at this time too.. i suppose the toughest transit at this time for the sun in pisces is the upcoming extended transit of mars in virgo.. good luck trying to figure something out with this to go on.. i hope you can pick the time for the interview, but oftentimes you can't! t moon to your sun is the easiest answer for you here...

Re: insight into interview
Thanks sandstone. Unfortunately I don't have control over the time, and moon is in Scorpio on the day. It will be recently past a trine to natal sun, missed by a day. You're right, sun in Cap 7th highlights the libra cluster, but also conjuncts natal venus, which could be helpful in an interview. Transiting venus also conjuncts natal Sun. Jupiter in 1 Taurus 10th is good, but I wonder if I can count it as opposing my Pluto at 26 Libra...
Have attached transits for the day in case you're interested.
Seems a bit catch 22 to me. One interesting thing -- I don't know if its meaningful at all but caught my eye -- is Moon in Scorpio 5th house : the job involves research and children.
Will keep you posted, and will also do some research on the Mars transit through Virgo. Cheers!

Re: insight into interview
if it is the january 18th date, it looks quite good actually! t venus close to your sun, with t sun right on your 7th house venus is very positive.. i hope it is the 18th for your sake as it looks positive.. i was overlooking specifics and thinking in general terms like t moon on your sun.. this date is much better! cheers james

Re: insight into interview
Hi Sandstone
Just thought I'd let you know that I didn't get the job. I think I will give up looking now!
Thanks for your help earlier.
