ever questions,your opinions?

what is your opinion about ever questions?

as in the recent "will he EVER cheat on me" thread,

do you think it is possible to ask an EVER question and get an answer with no timeframe?

how could the querent in the "will he ever cheat on me" thread have the answer?

if in horary astrology is not possible.

synastry? composite?
how to find out the answer for a no timeframe question,as an example to "will he ever cheat on me"?

dr. farr, you said it is not possible, how'd you find the answer to this question

Re: ever questions,your opinions?

"Ever questions" should be looked at the natal chart.

Re: ever questions,your opinions?

I can understand the hesitancy with asking "ever" questions or questions without a definite time frame. They are certainly a bit more difficult and intimidating and it's best to not do them if you don't feel comfortable doing them (like me).

However, Lilly seems to be fearless in this endeavor and had no problem telling a woman she would never have children based on a horary she sent him. I don't have the book with me at the moment, but I can come back and cite it when I do if you'd like to take a look at it.

Spoiler alert: he reads it like a normal horary, as if she had asked him with a timeframe.

I have been doing horary for quite some time now, still a student in many ways, but is that not always true for astrology? I will say, when I have encountered these kinds of questions, when it is appropriate to do so, I try to convert the question. Instead of "will I ever," I try for, "when, if ever?" It also forces the querent to think more clearly on the subject, because questions that begin with "will I ever," have some dream or motivation underneath, that can be shaped by the person's natal chart (as but one example.) Thus, it might be more pertinent to see if the issue can be resolved through the natal chart.

As for this example regarding Lily, was it ever proven that she was truly unable? Hate to put you on the spot but was just curious. Looking forward to when you bring the book back to cite.

Re: ever questions,your opinions?

Ever....also known as, at any point, is there a chance, will s/he, should s/he/ or I...these all imply a un-specified amount of time for an occurance to transpire.

In the context of a question, if the horary is valid and suitably descriptive, any question is a good question. The problem arises when we have no definite way to prove if the horary is accurate or the astrologer is in error. "Cheating", by it's very nature, is hidden, unseen and only provable and practical to answer when there can be proof revealed. Otherwise, it only instigates worry and possibly, unfounded conclusions.

Horary works best when practical, provable. Otherwise, regardless, it remains in the arena of speculation and gossip.

So, if the horary can tell you something useable, that is provable, then, by all means, bring the thing to light. If not...well, then...of what use would be the answer?

Re: ever questions,your opinions?

"Ever" in the past tense, can be answered because it always indicates a limited time frame (the maximum limit is, of course, the time from the beginning of the matter, or of the life of the quesited or querent, up to the current time) "Ever" in the future tense is unlimited, infinite, and therefore violates the "specificity" quality necessary for valid horary questions (this according to Ankara/Ottoman astrology and earlier Islamic-era horary sources; same doctrine is also to be found in jysotish prasna-ie, Vedic horary)

In future tense "ever" questions, the limited time-frame of validity for the answer to the question is there in the chart, regardless of the question being open-ended relative to time; this time-frame will be related to movement of significator planets and/or Moon toward conjuntions with each other, or the chronocrator time-frame indications of the ascending sign (as in the Al-Biruni zodiacal time frame parameters), or other such indications in the chart.

how'd you know the answer to this question through synastry?

and in the anakra method,if the querent asked "will he cheat on me in the next 100 years" ,would it be ok?
why an ever question can not be asked? what is the reason?

what do you think about william lilly ever question?

kaiousei no senshi,i am waiting for that.
