suitable career??

Hey i just joined today, still trying to grasp the ins and outs of astrology, i have a feeling its going to take me a while! Ive come to a bit of a crossroads careeer wise and in life in general i suppose, since my early teens ive had a lot of weight on my shoulders, i wouldnt go to the extreme in saying i was a doormat, cause i genuinley do enjoy helping others, and il continue to do so happily, its just im worried that if i dont start becoming more assertive and focusing on some of my dreams and ambitions, they will end up passing me by, ive done so knowingly in the past, i dont know why exactly. my greatest passion is theatre is there anything in my chart that would hint at getting over my insecurities on stage? and what career would i be best suited to according to my chart??

id really appreciate if anyone could give me even the slightest bit of insight, i havent figured how to upload an image chart, but my details are

born march 3rd 1987, at 11:46am, cork, Ireland.

career, to sirona

sirona,

Using Noel Tyl's Midheaven Extension theory:
- Aquarius (ruled by Uranus) modifies Midheaven (outer world)
Sagittarius (ruled by Jupiter) modifies Uranus
Aries (ruled by Mars) modifies Jupiter
Taurus (ruled by Venus) modifies Mars
Aquarius (ruled by Uranus) modifies Venus
So there is an interconnection of energy between Uranus (friends, also innovation), Jupiter (expansion, also knowledge), Mars (being), and Venus (physical, also personal money/values).

- Uranus, Saturn (duty, also career), and Moon (home, also emotions) sextile (energy goes easily with) Midheaven
So there is an emotional interest in innovation and career

- Mercury (thinking, also writing/daily work, also analysis) is conjunct (energy is combined with) Midheaven
So there is a need to do writing and analysis in your daily work

- The chart energy is focused in the top (outer world) of the chart
So there is an interest in being in the outer world

- North node (future goals) is focused in the 11th house (friends, also innovation)
So there is a need to innovate in what you do

- More planets are focused in the 11th house than any other focus
More focus on innovation

- Jupiter and Venus are in "fate degrees" (strong energy)
More emphasis on knowledge and personal money/values

There is a STRONG need to innovate, to learn and create something yourself that will have personal value and build the personal money supply! This means whatever career you have you will need to be fairly independent, so you can "stretch your wings" and do what you feel you need to do to make your job work. This suggests some type of entrepreneurship, maybe not in whatever job you choose to get your money, but outside of the job, on your own, so you can develop and grow yourself.

Since you have your South node (the past) focused in the 5th house (self-expression, also performing arts), it is understandable right now you are interested in performance. But as you grow older you will leave that behind and start to develop your 11th house, as noted.

Your strong urges to do things for others is because you have 3 planetary energies conjunct your Descendant (others), so there is a strong pull towards "others". But you ALSO have 5 planets on the left (self) side of the chart, so pretty soon you are going to get tired of doing all that "other" work and want to have a little "me" time. This is emphasized since Mars (being) is focused on the left (self) side of your chart, indicating you need to be yourSELF.

Careering and explaining,

Tim

By knowing the Lord of the 10th you can easily find the job you are most suited for. By the condition of the Lord of the tenth you can tell if you will be successful or not in it.

As I stated before, if there are other Planets in your 10th consider them in your judgment. If there are any aspects or conjunctions of the Planets to your Lord of the 10th, these will also be of influence.
astro.teacher,

how do aspects figure into the interpretation?

say for example, lord of 10th is saturn in detriment. i understand you interpret this as unsuccussessful in saturnian career.

what would tight benevolent aspects with jupiter (trine), mars (sextile), moon (sextile), and a tight malevolant aspect with mercruy (semisquare) mean?

Aspects either help or hinder the Lord. If they are benevolent aspects by benevolent well placed planets, its obviously an aid, specifically coming from those people who are under that benevolent Planet. If they are malevolent aspects and with malevolent or ill placed planets, they are obviously going to cause the Native a lot of difficulty in their career, specifically people of that Planetary type.

Detriment means very little, in fact the placement in the 10th House nullifies the negativity of the detriment (but also the House placement). However, all planets have positive and negative traits. When they are well placed and well aspected they receive the positive interpretation, when ill placed and ill aspected the negative. Saturn debilitated can lead to people who have the profession of ditch digger (using a Traditional example) however if dignified, a husbandman or someone of value to the society in providing an earthy source for the community.

Re: suitable career??

heh. ok.

i think i've got it now...

so aspects don't hint at the suitable career. that info is indicated by the lord of the 10th.

the other info (conditions and aspects) indicate extent of success in the career.
