Smile should I submit my resume for this new position

There is a position that just opened up in my department that I originally wanted before taking this job. It is a lateral move in some respects but I think I would be happier. Would anyone mind giving me the time you see this, i'm anxious to see what the chart for this question would look like!

Hi Starrynight,

Do you mean you want us to do a horary using for the time we read your question?

Kind regards,
Lissa

Re: should I submit my resume for this new position

Hi Starrynight,

Keep in mind that 'we', as the other astrologers, would have to agree on a time for this chart; otherwise you will get twenty charts, all different! It's probably better, for future charts, if you state your *own* date/time of asking the question, and then follow the guidelines Radu kindly put up for horary students to use.

Re: should I submit my resume for this new position

Hi Starrynight!

No problem .

Ok,I will try to take a look at this because I really want to practice my horary skills, but keep in mind that I'm far away from being a professional astrologer.I'd sugest you think twice before taking me too seriously lool.

I'll try to use my latest knowledgments and check the lord of the hour and the ruler of the Ascendant. It was a Moon's day,Jupiter hour,Mercury ruled Ascendant.Jupiter is warm and moist,Mercury is cold and dry and the Moon is cool and moist.I think all this don't match, but I'm not sure .

Ok,the rising sign I'm getting is14ºGemini(I'll attach the chart later),so your significator is Mercury, which is found in the10th(representing the career and being also the quesited house),so I can tell you would really like to have this job.Since the10th represents the career I will take it for the quesited. The MC is19ºAquarius,so the significator for the job is Saturn.Saturn is in really bad shape, moving Retrograde, being in debility and also opposing the MC!I have bad feeling about this ,but I can always be wrong.Perhaps you're seeing this job through your pink sun glasses, making it look better than it actually is.Also, your significator(which happens to be in detriment)squares the Ascendant,so you might not be looking at this from a totally detached or rational manner. Not only, but Neptune(illusions)is also conjunct the MC,which supports my idea that you may be deluded about this.

Now,the Moon can be found at10ºLibra.The Moon's next aspect is an opposition to the Sun(12ºAries),which rules the end of the matter.Perhaps this means you will try to get the job,but fail,or discover this job is not what you expected it to.

Anyway, just my attempt to do the chart, hopefully some real astrologer can correct me .

All the best
Lissa

IMO there was nothing to correct, Lissa. It was a *very good* reading of the chart. Sometimes the answer *is* that simple!

*applause*

Best wishes,
AG

Re: should I submit my resume for this new position

Thank you!!

Yes actually after talking with a friend and reflecting about it, I don't think it would be realistic in many ways for me to apply for this position. Thanks Lissa, you are dead on in many ways and should give yourself more credit!

Re: should I submit my resume for this new position

Yikes!!! I just found out today that a position similar to the other one I asked about opened up and this seems more promising. I asked at 5:09 pm EST in New York NY if I should submit my application for this position.? I will upload the chart shortly. I am not as well versed in horary but this chart looks more promising no? Also I heard somewhere that the 9th house is also the house of publishing (this is sort of an editorial position soo...) could we use Venus is as an indicator in t his?
