Interpreting this weird relationship

Here are the charts for my current bf and I. We've only been together for 6 months, and we both left our previous relationship for this one.

I've read up and researched on some of these aspects but nothing helps more than having someone's insight on their own REAL experiences.

What I'm very feeling uneasy about is the Sun Conjunct Pluto in 12th house Composite, as well as his pluto tightly conjunct my Ascendant, but sitting in my 12th house. I've heard Sun/Pluto relationships are along the lines of "other worldly" but also a huge power struggle.

We also have in synastry, my sun opposing his moon. Perhaps this is what's making this relationship not flow as smooth as if it were a more easier aspect?

In Synastry chart, He is on the outside, I'm on the inside.

We have Sun conjunct venus and mercury, which is a pretty "friendly" aspect, but is it not so much about love?

His moon is conjunct my jupiter, I'm not sure if this is really a love-relationship aspect. Could anyone share some real experiences with this aspect?

What I'm worried about is this man's flightyness...or apparent flightyness. Aspects that made me kind of concerned was his Venus in Sag, in his first house along with neptune and uranus. Perhaps his head is too high up in the clouds and whenever he's disappointed that's when his love for people disappears??

He seems very distant at times, perhaps it's in his chart that he needs independence and personal space, but when I wanted to leave he told me not to go and held me. He's told me he loves me...but I don't think he knows how a real loving relationship works. Sometimes I do feel like I'm apart of his life, but at other times he excludes me out.

His reason for our intimacy (sex) issues (this happened a while back but its solved now) was "maybe because I love you, and I love you more now than before"....that is a REALLY strange way of putting things??

Sometimes I feel I understand him, but I really really don't wanna judge him. (I've read sometimes pluto thinsk they know the sun but they REALLY dont.) Or maybe that's a 12th house issue?
