Medical Astrology Astrological diagnoses and other health issues are discussed here. Given that there are so many outer and inner influences on one's health (alimentation, sports, medication, past medical antecedents, state of mind, etc.), an astrological diagnosis is only one of many things to consider when determining your healthiness.

He's Turning Yellow and Very Sick

Hi guys, never come here cause I'm just not progressed enough for this type of astrology, but I post on the other threads often ... , but worried about this man, his birth data, he's very sick, turning yellow (liver problems I assume) and have to use noon as birth time, he is older and does not know , tests are scheduled too, hospitalization. Can anyone tell me where do I find liver ailments, if that's it, or otherwise, maybe what's going on? Thanks so much!

baker,

It sounds like this guy is jaundiced which indicates rather severe liver problems. So many people have much milder forms of hepatitis and don't even know it. Anyway, Jupiter deals with the liver in general so I'd start there and also where Sag is natally.

Also Neptune and Pisces and of course the 6th and 12th houses. Then check the transits but if he's turning yellow, this liver problem has been with him for awhile already....not good! He's an 82 year old Scorpio and I'd guess that with the current transits, especially Pluto in Sagittarius and Jupiter in Scorpio , liver and hidden health problems, that the upcoming Grand Fixed Squares will be difficult for him.

Remedy for Sick Friend

Dear Baker,

Try using GLUTATHIONE supplement. It is natural and is the reason for the jaudinced tone of your friend's skin. The liver must produce GLUTATHIONE and it is the reason for his illness according to the birth data you left.

I ran a cycle chart, and progressed it. He should receive this natural supplement immediately. Also - make sure that cooked peas are part of his daily diet - peas help to cool a liver that is back to work after receiving does of supplements designed to get the liver to manufacture GLUTATHIONE.

Go to www. vitimmune.com to find it fast. Your local supermarket or New Seasons may carry it.

Baker, I just posted the above message on GLUTATHOINE. I didn't log on the right way and noticed the website link was not written out right.

The website is www.vitimmune.com and you should be able to get the supplement right away. Also, remember what I said about the peas to keep the liver working well while he is taking the supplement.

Baker,

Sorry I caught this thread so late in the news. Pleased, however, that your friend is seeking medical attention. While most people associate jaundice or a yellowing of the skin and eyes with improper liver function, it is actually caused by too much bilirubin in the circulatory system.

Bilirubin is the compound produced by the breakdown of hemoglobin from red blood cells. Thats part of the liver's job is to break down red blood cells.

Jaundice is a symptom not a condition. Jaundice is an outward observable symptom of hepatitis or cirrhosis, however, it can also be a symptom of gallbladder dysfunction, or pancreatic dysfunction, etc. These dysfunctions in turn can be harmful to the liver which can result in the observable jaundice.

There are a number of medical conditions which show the symptomalogy of jaundice but can have varying contributory disease processes. Your friend's doctor will order a series of blood tests, x-rays, sonograms, etc., to determine the actual condition which is causing his jaundiced appearance.

It will be interesting to find out if the empirical data coincides with the chart interpretations offered in this thread. Please keep us updated to his condition.

Most importantly, I do hope your friend fares well during this time of health crisis, Baker.

Well, ya'll are just freakin amazing! Thanks so very very much for the responses. FYI: He HATES peas, but I'll have mom force-feed him. : ) just to get some in him! Also asked my own doctor about the jaundice, and she did mention the bilirubin, too. Shock of all shocks a conventional doctor agreeing! As we speak, he's at the hospital having liver, pancreas, and gall bladder testing. Results probably won't come back until later this week. I'll keep you posted.

Thanks again!

The direction given by you guys was right on, don't you think?

hugs ((((((()))))))) to all!

Hey Baker,

You had said you didnt know much about medical astrology. I dont either, but, I do have a college degree or two in biology and health sciences . However, I would be willing to bet a stellium you certainly have enough astrological knowledge to discern some info from this site:

I am assuming your friend's physician is going to have some other tests done in the very near future? They are still waiting for some tests to be done or interpreted??? A referral to a specialist maybe? Geez...I really feel for your friend and his family. Bad enough to 'know' something is wrong but to be told 'we dont know' by your physician is scary stuff. I think I can cope with just about any sort of bad news if I know precisely what I am dealing with. Its the 'unknown' that bothers me more.

Baker, please encourage your friend to see a specialist (gastroenterologist, etc) or to firmly request a referral or second opinion, now.

Many disease processes can be treated successfully if caught early. Without reviewing his test results or other facts on hand, neither myself or any other professional could begin to ascertain a diagnosis or treatment plan based on just the symptom of 'jaundice' and general malaise.

The first time I faced cancer, I ended up going to 4 different physicians before I finally came across the fifth one and he ordered the biopsies. The other physicians simply stated hormonal dysfunction and pursued no physical tests other than an exam. I was very young and most people with that type of cancer statistically were much older than I.

I just 'knew' something was terribly wrong with me and other than some mild symptoms, it was hard to diagnose without the biopsies. That same physician/surgeon saved my life and delivered my healthy daughter almost 2 years to the date when I first had surgery and began treatments.

If I hadnt listened to my intuition and aggressively pursued another opinion, I wouldnt be here today to tell the story.

Professionally, I was always a patient advocate before anything else and it irks me when people cannot get answers they need for their emotional and physical health. I pray your friend finds out what the problem is and can get treatment quickly.

(((((((AMAZON))))))))))), I didn't know you are a survivor too! Congratulations sweetie, that is wonderful. I'm three years out of treatment. Hum, I'm having a cosmic moment here. Wow. God love you. I know what that diagnosis feels like. And here we are today on this forum. Boy, if that doesn't tell it all, nothing does.

As to my friend, I'm on it. Thanks.

Hi Baker,

What you may want to do is get his permission to get a copy of his birth certificate. Check with the State of Ohio's Vital Records office to see how to purchase one.

I know that depending upon where he was born, the birth time might not be recorded. You might be surprised, however. I know I was when my father's time was recorded on his certificate and he was born in 1927 in a small town in rural Iowa.

As for the possibilities of what the underlying cause of the jaundice might be, have they done any genetic testing for hemochromatosis? It may be possible that he is has this genetic disease and they don't realize it. Here is a link to a page that talks about this genetic disease:

http://www.wrongdiagnosis.com/h/hemo...osis/intro.htm

Here is a bit of a blurb from the page:

Quote:
Hemochromatosis is genetic disease, affecting around 1-in-200 to 1-in-300, where excessive iron builds up in the body and gradually damages various body organs. Over time it damages the joints (causing arthritis), liver (causing liver disease), heart (causing heart disease), and pancreas (causing diabetes). Because it has no early symptoms, hemochromatosis is often undiagnosed until serious organ damage causes other conditions or symptoms. Even at this stage, hemochromatosis may be overlooked as the underlying cause with a diagnosis of arthritis, liver disease, heart disease or diabetes given. This is unfortunate because hemochromatosis is usually treatable to at least stop and often to reverse the organ damage.
I don't know if this helps, but it might be a worthwhile avenue for him to pursue.

Astrologically, blood is ruled by Jupiter and Mars, so check not only what is aspecting both of those natally but also by progression because the progression will tell a lot about where he is right now on manifesting the life his soul wants him to have. A solar arc progression will actually move Jupiter forward in time where a secondary progression will barely budge the planet. I'd use both the Solar Arc and secondary progressed Mars. The aspects that the progressed planets are making relative to their natal positions (and the aspects the progressed planets are making to the natal aspects to the natal positions) may give you sense of the underlying disease process that lead to the jaundice.

Hope this helps. And, as usual, take what fits and ditch the rest.
