double whammy vertex ascendant conjunction

hi,

I am sort of puzzling over something that has happened in the last year and a half. I met in a strange way in a strange place a stranger whose libra ascendant falls on my vertex, and whose vertex is conjunct my aries ascendant, she a scorpio and I a pisces with double scorpio moon.
To all appearances she is not trust-worthy, has no moral fiber, constantly drops acid and smokes grass, and can't communicate at all clearly or effectively. Terrific in bed however.
I dumped her for the third time after she flaked on weekend plans and waited a day to call.
I just sort of fiercely hate this person but I can't get loose of her, not even when I sleep with other people.
what does this vertex thing mean in this instance?
