Welcome to AW,

I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..

Within the mainstream here on AW of placidus/equal houses (the default on astro is placidus) only difference being some planets may move from one house to another thereby altering it's interpretation and it's 'only' with research will you find which planets 'fit you' in which houses. So my advice, do two charts, research any planets that move houses and see which you identity with - simple

So in Equal house your Chart ruler Jupiter & pluto would be in 12th house which suggests you need time alone to commune with self

Uranus would be 2nd house, mercury, moon would be 10th and mars 11th. Sun venus 9th, so there are massive changes, just in house systems...

You can get an immediate chart interpretation from astro.com. From ‘free horoscopes tab look for free 'personal portrait' interpretation of a natal chart in the free horoscope section, you simply put the cursor on a planet and it brings a pop up box to explain what it means to have a planet in that house and any other aspects it has to natal planets. plus a six month free transit report in 'short report' Robert Hand gives a valuable in depth explanation of transits here – only slight objection I have with astro, is they use orbs of upto maybe 10' approaching, exact and departing. So most transits seem very long in effect. I use more realistic orbs of 1' approaching, 1' exact and 1' departing.

There is *something* about taking action (mars) that is at odds with saturn. But I think with the quincunx there is less *conscious awareness* of these two energies and how they act, that's why their lack of understand comes in. They act in a certain way and dont' understand why they 'get back' the reactions that they do, if that makes sense?
