Progressed Chart / MC Persona Chart and Vocation

Alright I am following astrologer50 suggestion and starting a new topic on this matter.

Like I said previously, I recently got interested in studying Law and eventually becoming a lawyer. I got curious and I checked my progressed chart in which my progressed MC is in Libra.

I am thinking this influenced me and "woke up" my interest in law... What are your thoughts?

I also came across my MC Persona Chart, however I still feel pretty clueless in how interpreting it. I think the aspects between the MC persona chart and the natal chart are the important notes here...

Could you please combine natal and progression and transits all in the one chart, found in Extended chart selection. I can see no benefit of seeing a progressed chart as stand alone. We need to compare it with the natal visually, see what's aspecting what. Also remember progressions are 'internal issues' and growth not external..

progressed planets/charts are more 'internal' changes, evolvements rather than 'events or external' matters. I don't read prog charts as stand alones it's more important to see where these planets are moving in the natal chart

Your natal chart is like a photograph as unique as your fingerprint, BUT the 10planets in the sky have not stayed where they were in your natal chart, they have all moved. Predictive astrology is mostly maths where those 10planets are now and the mathematical aspects they make to your natal charts ie: 180'=opposition, 90'=square, 60'=sextile and 120'=trine.

So your personality, grows, develops, changes, matures as we get older, this is reflected by your sun sign changing from it's natal position to the next sign along, so does your Asc and MC sign change. In fact from sun to mars especially are important, as the outer planets really don't move much, using a 'day for a year' secondary progressions.

What's the difference between Transits and Progressions?
“Transits are the planets currently orbiting in the sky and the relationships they form to each other and additionally, to your chart. Transits happen for everyone. They're important and effect you personally when they contact a planet or point in your chart. Transits represent outside energy, things happening outside yourself. The most important of progressed planets is of course, sun & moon and then upto mars, as the outer planets hardly move by progression. Now like with transits, solar arcs --- it's what these progressed planets are doing NOW by mathematical aspect to your natal planets and Angles that is ultimately important.

I use Equal House system (where each cusp is same as Ascendant) and am a modern astrologer. Lots of newcomers come into Astrology/forums and get a free chart from www.astro.com and the default ‘house system’ used is Placidus and think that’s just the norm and all there is……..BUT that is just the tip of the iceberg. You can change the default on astro.com in Extended Chart selection to Equal house and a few others if you wish to experiment…..

your interest in the law, can be easily and clearly seen by having 3planets in 9th house... although mercury retrograde is conj 10th house cusp Equal house

My Part of the Fortune is also in Leo on the 9th... So 9th house topics seem to be the tonic for my success...

I also noticed my ASC progressed to Sagittarius, reinforcing even more my 9th house influence. Looks like studying Law and getting interested in becoming a lawyer would eventually happen to me, I have some serious 9th energy .

Well, I am already living abroad for 3 years now, all makes sense .

I attached the chart with progressions, transits and natal placements as you requested and I used the equal house system. It's definitely easier to compare like this.

Your prog Asc has been in Saggi a long long time, but notice it's now 1' off conjunction with Uranus the planet of sudden changes, surprises and upheavals....

Next year T Jupiter will conj N Node in 6th house and this should be opportunities, expansion connected to your Life Lessons (not necessarily career issues though) As node is ruled by venus and venus is posited in cancer 8th house, we could link these and suggest, family (cancer) joint finances (8th) and Life Lessons (node) 6th house daily routines, health, co-workers, type of work will all be brought into play

I also notice T Pluto is opposing natal venus now, which is a majorly powerful (internal) transit

T uranus next year may well start it's sextile to venus in 8th. Now venus is not only love, affection, romance but also hints at how we earn money. So uranus transiting 5th has been there a while, but needs to aspect something within your chart (planet or angle ie: Asc/MC) before it gets noticed. so this could suggest some sudden perhaps unstable romance/or finances at that time.

Sorry for the late reply, it was a good but busy weekend. I hope you a had a good one too.

Yes, I have been feeling that pluto transit for awhile, my relationship has been in a rocky road but we also have been stepping these stones together and growing. We both feel our relationship is much stronger now than 2 years ago. Part of this rocky road is the financial situation, this has been the main issue basically. So it's all Venus topics, mostly the money, being challenged by Pluto... At least, it's for good lol... We definitely have a stronger bond today as a couple.

I am looking forward to that T Jupiter and T Uranus, I feel it will give me a so much necessary push in my life. I feel it will be career wise, since I have been struggling in this department for years now.

I have always been so confused about my career... On and off about what I want to study, unemployed... Now that I really feel I found a path, I think Jupiter and Uranus will give me a hand (hopefully).

AH so now I understand why most of the times I don't really feel like my Scorpio ASC, it has progressed into Sagittarius for awhile!
You know... Sometimes I actually do feel a bit secretive, shy or jealous like the scorpio but the energy is so incompatible with my sun and stellium in leo that I feel like I wasn't being the real me or I ask myself "why did you have to do it that way?" ...
I actually don't know 100% what is my natal ASC, astro.com tells me it's in Scorpio but other sites tells me it's in Sagittarius, it seems it is right there on the cusp?

have you research Saggi Asc? scorpio is a very very private sign and not overly sociable (also cappi, cos they are workaholics and tight with money)

TOB is really essential, 4minutes in real time is approx 1' on Asc. have you tested your Asc/MC with transits? look for T mars and T mercury as they seem the most noticeable over Angles. Make a diary date using an ephemeris and watch...

Hmm ephemeris seems a bit confusing, but I will try.

Hmm my mom is sure about my TOB being 15h10 GMT, so that seems to be right. I had researched a bit about Sag ASC and it fits partially... I wouldn't say I look like a Sag ASC though... I am short and thin. If you just knew how many comments people say to me: "OH MY but you are so small!!" ...

I will research a bit more, I am super curious because I am a private person, but not as much as a Scorpio ASC seems to be... And I am always aiming big, whatever it is and this seems a bit more Sag trait (Jupiter).
