Triplicity question...

So does Triplicity work for what sign there in or what? After reading and re-reading the posts above, I can honestly say that I am very confused on this whole Triplicity thing.

So let's say a chart was Diurnal, and Sun was in Pisces, does that mean that the Triplicity ruler is Mars? If so, what if the Moon were to be found in Cancer, does it get +5 for being Domicile and another +3 for being in its own Triplicity?

For example, Sun is in the 9th House, Pisces at 8 Degrees. Moon is in the 1st House, Cancer at 13 Degrees. Does the moon get Triplicity points just for being in a(n) water sign, since it's part of the water triplicity?

Sorry if I am so confusing. Am wondering, myself, if the information I posted above even makes sense.... Would be thankful for those who reply.

Hello, I've returned with more information. I have been reading about diurnal and nocturnal charts, and there is so much to learn. Since you said my sun was below the horizon..would that indicate I was born around midnight or midday? Because I created another horoscope at 12 midnight and the only planets that were above the horizon are my moon and jupiter. I know this is not exact but my sun is square jupiter so it will always be two signs away regardless of the house. My moon is in Virgo, so if the sun is below the horizon the moon has to be within the 5th, 6th, 7th, 8th, 9th, and 10th houses

I also looked at Jupiter and mars in my chart. Jupiter and mars are not retrogade or combust. I don't know if there out of sect or underbeams since my birth time is unknown. Since I have a night chart, I'm guessing Mars is the Almuten of the mutual reception. Mar is in a masculine diurnal sign but is under the horizon..does that make him weak in a night chart. Would that give Jupiter more power in a masculine diurnal sign above the horizon?

I don't know maybe I have everything backwards ...help somebody

Well, I asked my mom and she says its between 12 and 1 pm. But she also said she's really not to sure and that I should ask my dad. I asked my dad and he doesn't remember either, so I'm basing my birth chart on my mom's memory. I have confidence that she is right. I mean I should, she gave birth to me. Do you know if there is a way to figure out your birth hour from the natal chart?

So your mother says you were born between 12 mid-day and 1pm? OK then! Your chart is diurnal (not nocturnal) The sun is definitely above the horizon at mid-day!

Some say there are ways to figure out your exact birth hour from your speculative natal chart. For example - one idea could be to experiment with a natal chart for, say 12:30 and check your ascendant and whether it describes your physical appearance or not - in fact there are a few threads on this forum on the ascendant and physical appearance which may give some insight.

Rectification is still only speculative! But there are those who use it
