Dating again... after many years?

Hello ,

I recently ended a very long term relationship (amicably and without too much trauma) and, although I don't particularly want or expect to go into something very serious immediately, i was wondering whether I will be dating again in the near future.

I'd be grateful for any input or comments... In the meantime, here is my interpretation:

I am venus exalted in pisces: so kind of in a 'romantic' mode and mood. Saturn retro in 1st (I know, some of you will say that the chart is not radical), just emerging from something major and still carrying that with me somehow. Moon in 1st: my emotions are centered on myself? Moon is also via combusta so not great...

Potential 'date' would be mars in aries, under the sunbeams (shy perhaps?)... separating from an opposition with the moon. Not sure how to interpret that and the fact that the 7th is loaded...

Unforunately with Saturn RX right on the ASC and the Moon Via Combusta, the answer is no. Unless you want to actually use the considerations against judgement then the chart is not radical. Either way the answer is not favorable.

Have to agree with misskitty. Saturn in the 1st is putting a damper on things and the moon via combusta definitely won't help. Notice your significator is not making or receiving anyone either. Just not the right time at the moment.

Thanks both for that! Yes, I can feel that you're right, and to be truthful, I don't particularly feel like dating right now, I'd rather spend some time with my (girl)friends... Whoever said that a date was like a job interview with a cocktail was absolutely right!

Re: Dating again... after many years?

Moon is the Hour Ruler aspecting the Ascendant and in the Ascendant and in the same Triplicity as the Ascendant. You can't get much more Radical than that.

Saturn in the first is just a warning to the astrologer that something is up.

The chart IS Radical and can be read.

Moon Via Combusta in the 1st House shows the Querent is in near panic mode. We can see the Moon in the 1st House ruling the 10th House suggests she is concerned about her appearance and the first impression she will make on the Quesited.

The Moon is further debilitated severely because it is within 12° of an opposition to the Sun and Moon is Peregrine.

Venus in the 6th House inconjunct the Ascendant shows the Querent is not in control here. Once the Moon aspects Venus, Venus will be Void of Course. We can see a change on the Querent's horizon, but not necessarily for the better.

Venus makes no aspect to Mars/Sun, and Moon has separated from Mars and is opposing Sun without Reception so this will not go well, and it will be Querent's fault (Peregrine Moon).

Sun has long since separated from Mars, so Mars is escaping from Combustion, meaning whatever problems Mars had are behind the Quesited who is gaining strength and confidence.

Re: Dating again... after many years?

Thanks for this BobZemco - gosh I'm quite scared now I didn't ask the question with anybody in mind, was just wondering if someone would ask me out etc. I don't feel in panic mode at all, but neither do I feel in control.

I do think you're very right when you say that it's 'the querent's fault': deep down I don't actually think I want a man in my life right now. As for moon ruling the 10th, I think it's also probably because i was really really focussed on my career recently (and still am of course).

Thanks again for your input, I really appreciate it!
