Synastry Question: Strong Taurus Influence Between Our Charts
Hello!
First, I should explain that the two people involved here are females. I am incredibly attracted to this woman, but I have my doubts that she is attracted to me. I know she likes me because she is extremely sweet and attentive toward me the few times I have interacted with her - also very nurturing - but it is my belief that if she really liked me, she would make a move because there is a strong Aries influence in her chart. I am not the type of person to make the first move, but I would do it if I knew that she were really attracted to me. She does approach me when I bump into her at random events, but I feel paralyzed in her presence and have a tendency to be aloof and distant with her (which is exactly opposite of the way I feel). I am hoping that she is attracted to me and that this isn't just one-sided. I think that she would find me at least a little appealing because she is a Taurus with Mercury and Mars also in Taurus and I have Venus and Mars in Taurus...? How would someone with her chart behave towards someone they are attracted to?
I appreciate any and all feedback. Thanks!

Re: Synastry Question: Strong Taurus Influence Between Our Charts
I don't know if I would say she has a strong Aries in her chart. Yes, she has a stellium in Aries in her 2nd house and Mars is on an angle, but Mars is in opposition to Neptune, which could weaken some of Mars' natural inclination towards action. Also, with Saturn in the 2nd house, I would suspect that could lead to potential feelings of inadequacy or self-worth issues in her life, which may involve a fear of rejection. As you noted, there's a lot going on in Taurus, which is a sign not always quick to act, plus she has an Aquarius ascendant (a fixed sign - also not known for rushing in) that could make her come off as aloof, but that may not be truly the case. I wish I had more to offer, but I would say give it time and the best way to reach her is to continue to develop a mental rapport with her before expecting something physical. I hope that helps and I wish you the best of luck!

It would be helpful if you could post the Synastry chart as well. It's hard to compare two charts when they're not next to each other.

Re: Synastry Question: Strong Taurus Influence Between Our Charts
Thank you for your feedback, ethertwist! I think you made some very interesting points.
I just saw that she has the Moon, Venus, Saturn and Chrion in Aries and assumed that Aries would be a strong influence in her chart because of it. Perhaps Taurus is still a stronger influence in her chart. I noticed that she is very extroverted, but doesn't appear to be a flirt. As far as self-worth issues, she actually said that she has low self-worth a few weeks ago. I think I have definitely succeeded in appealing to her on a mental level. Actually, I think we have a good mental rapport the problem is that we just don't see each other very often. We'll see how it goes. I guess I just expect her to make the move (if she's even attracted to me) because she is older.

Re: Synastry Question: Strong Taurus Influence Between Our Charts
It would seem likely that she would be attracted to you given that her Mars is conjunct your Venus and you both share Venus-Pluto aspects between your charts (your Pluto opposes her Venus and her Pluto trines your Venus), which bodes well for intense mutual physical/sexual attraction. Also, your Jupiter is sitting right on her descendant, so you've definitely got her thinking about relationships and you warm up, energize, and enliven that sector of her chart. I can see how she really revs you up because that Aries stellium of hers falls in your 8th house, so you may feel like you're drawn to her in a very visceral and instinctual way because you perceive her as having the potential to really ignite your passionate side.
Without knowing the circumstances in which you see and interact with her , I'm wondering if that synastric opposition between Mars-Uranus indicates interferences that keeps the communication/connection sporadic or inconsistent in some way? Are you giving her direct signals that you're interested in her romantically? For the same reason you're waiting for her to make the first move, perhaps she's intimidated by you and may be thinking she's out of your dating age range? Sorry for all the questions, I just thought I'd exhaust all angles!
Hopefully, some brilliant and concise astrology wizard on this forum can really disect her chart and the synastry you share to offer you more concrete insight than I can.

Re: Synastry Question: Strong Taurus Influence Between Our Charts
You've actually done a really good job analyzing the situation from an astrological standpoint. You have made some great points, including the Venus-Pluto aspects and the fact that my Jupiter is conjunct her descendant. I didn't even realize that and I definitely think it's important!
I figured that my strong attraction to her had something to do with all of those planets in my eighth house. It's a very deep, intense emotional attraction that I feel for her. Plus, I've witnessed her sensitive side on a few occasions and I just find her very appealing.
I only see her once every couple of months and interact with her very infrequently on a social networking site. Even if she were interested in me I doubt that she realizes that I am interested in her because I am very aloof in her presence. I don't mean to be, it's just that I feel paralyzed in her presence and I can't speak. It's weird because I don't usually have that problem. She might already know that I like older women because my ex is close to her age and she is aware of it.
I guess time will tell what she really thinks of me...?
Thank you for all of your feedback! I appreciate it.

You are so welcome!
I totally can relate to that feeling of being overwhelmed by attraction to someone to the point of being intimidated by them - especially when there's an age difference or some other disparity involved. Do you have any friends in common that can suss out how she might feel about you so that if necessary, you can make a move without the angst of uncertainty?
I'm a big proponent of the written word and if you're at all similar, perhaps you could write your feelings out in an email or letter, meditate over it, tweak as necessary, and then send it out? You don't have to pour your heart out, just indicate that you really enjoy her company and are interested in getting to know her better if she's willing and avaiable. It's open-ended, but the underlying intent is clear.
