Conjunction

I can't find a good interpretation anywhere. What does a Moon - Pluto conjunction mean? (It's in Scorpio, 10th house)

Re: Conjunction

Wow, moon conjunct pluto in Scorpio!! Wouldn't wanna upset you

http://www.astrologyweekly.com/ actually has good descriptions, just use the search function on the page at the bottom left. Here are the links for the conjunction, and for Moon and Pluto in Scorpio and the Tenth.

The one for Pluto in Scorpio is rather general, however, because of Pluto being so slow moving (and so sign placement of Pluto applies to many people of a similar age)

Re: Conjunction

Lol! No, don't upset me, I'll hold a grudge for years.
Those links are really useful. Can a conjunction also mean that there's something from a past life that has to be faced? I think I read that somewhere.

Re: Conjunction

Hi Monday

I thought a 10th house Pluto/Moon in Virgo was enough to handle - but in Scorpio . How do you feel that one? I can't really feel my moon without shaking and being absolutely terrified - after xxxx years I'm Still Not Good Enough!

I think of 10th house Pluto's as the auditors - have you thought about auditing, by any chance? (I've not read any other posts, so forgive me if you've mentioned it somewhere else.)

If you're stuck for an inspiration - I recently read that Bernadette Brady likens a conjunction to "invasion of the body snatchers" They're both there, but both altered. This made far more sense than blending of energies and the like. What do you think your Aliens would be like? Mine's the mother from hell who tries to clean it up! Death by dusting. A sort of 'you've lived a very bad life, youre on cobwebs for eternity! And I want them catalogued, cross referenced and in triplicate!' Heeellllppp!

Out of curiosity, what's your alien going to be like? Have some fun with it, you may be surprised

(You'll have to forgive the wiered approach to this - I've got the MC and Uranus all being towed away by the moon. I'm a part-time eccentric (a nutter)! )

take care

hel

I think it's about wanting to control your own destiny, your reluctant to allow anyone to take control of your life. Intense energies in pursuing a career. It is all about self discovery. You might at times be obsessed with your goals, and sensitive when it comes to your public image. Work may involve rebuilding or repairing. It may involve helping to rebuild people like medicine or psychiatry.

Your feelings are very intense you can be a little volatile at times. Within the family there may be secrecy, or hidden control with a parent. You operate in a very intense world. You may be very intuitive and you could use this power to help others.

I'm still learning astrology this is just a guess at your situation.

I've never thought of auditing, but come to think of it, I'd be good at it. I always tell people what to do, and mistakes are the first thing I notice when I read a letter/essay etc. My Sun Sign is Virgo
So you're saying a conjunction shows your Inner Alien (Demon)?

Hi Monday

I don't know. It was just the phrase conjuered up all sorts of wonderful imagery for me, which I could relate to. When the aliens took over the bodies of the people, they looked the same, they just acted a bit differently.

I've only just come across Inner alien/demon/daemon's very recently, and I don't understand them yet. I'm not sure what they are. Can someone explain, please? Can you have good/bad ones? Because if your theory is righ (you put the connection together ) how would they work because some conjunctions are happier together than others - just musing?

Virgo Sun, eh? (I've got far, far too much Virgo for my liking - so I'm in quality control! ) I can't see mistakes in written work (as you can tell!), but walking around - I see far too many I create too much work!

I must dash for now, catch you later

take care

Re: Conjunction

An Inner Demon is something inside you that bullies you. I don't think it's a good thing. I think it's something you have to face. Maybe it's your dark side, your shadow. Getting all Jung here now
But like you said, a conjunction can be good. In that case, my theory doesn't make any sense.

Re: Conjunction

Moon conjunct Pluto Scorp 10th house??/ What is sign on cusp and where is the ruler?? We need the whole picture. However one parent could be dominating, manipulative or on the positive side a great healer and transformer, psychologist, psychic medium. You could have a career in these areas and working with children or from home. Many things. Need to see chart.

Re: Conjunction

My ex husband (of 34 years!!) has his Moon-Pluto conjunction in Leo. Moon, ruler of his Sun, Pluto ruler of his Asc.! so you can imagine....!!! Total control freak who also cannot delegate without constantly checking up on the person.Bad relationship with mother, ever trying to prove to the world (public) and himself that he can make it. A lot of fear and insecurities deep down (which nobody would suspect but I could see in his chart). Fear of death.Totally fixed on sexual issues yet also extremely courageous magnetic and charming (lots of Gemini ) and because this conjunction is in his 9th house, great sense of humor. Very good storyteller, writer. Still best of friends. Highly intuitive, could have clairvoyant moments. As far as I know, indeed constantly fighting his inner demons!

Re: Conjunction

To Monday:
Many of the above interpretations have truth to them.
BUT always remember this: the moon represents your "programming" from childhood - especially from the mother. The moon conjunct Pluto intensifies this programming and makes it almost impossible to detach from. I have clients who have tried over and over to free themselves of the grasp of this programming, all the while being very resentful that they have to go through this process constantly....and yet never really free themselves. This is because every time that conjunction becomes vulnerable by transit, it gathers strength. We tend to "go back" to old habits and patterns when stressed or feeling vulnerable.

That aspect is a lifelong challange and one that must be consciously studied and worked on. Naturally, the rest of the chart will let you know what energies can be used to neutralize that conjunction. And the rest of the chart will let you know how powerful that conjunction is....and if the rest of the chart supports the negativity of it or supports the Sun, the future and the joy of choice.

In Scorpio it's very powerful owing to the Plutonian nature of it.....which means only Plutonian transits can be the release of it.
This doesn't mean this conjunction is ONLY negative.... in business and achievement of all types it give the native a tenaciousness unequaled in any other aspect... and many with this aspect collect material possessions their whole lives. But emotionally? Usually a big problem.

Re: Conjunction

Hello there

I agree that Pluto Moon contacts are very hard to overcome and no matter how much awareness we bring I think the best we can do is manage or avoid them. Often only death gives release. I have Moon square Pluto from 3rd house and have had difficult relations with a sister who invoked very deep and disturbing emotions in me. I felt often threatened by her behaviour and attitudes. Only her death recently has given me peace although grief as well. I also saw my mother as domineering and didnt get on with her either. I think it affected my whole view of family life and have never married although there are other aspects for that as well. I have taken up flower essence therapies to work on negative emotions and I think that is the solution for me at least to ameliorate those demonic emotions. Of course we project out what is within us and the other person often fits the bill in themselves as well.
